    Tobacco Cuts?

    Apologies if this is redundant, but I haven't seen these before, has anyone ever heard or seen these;

    Credit for the find goes to Troutstroker at Snuffhouse. I guess these are basically a spin on OT's. Available in General too. Anyone tried em yet, guess not?

    I've seen this type of thing before. It seems to be like the Piccanell or whatever that SM offers, and I have seen the "cuts" of rope tobacco that is hand rolled here in the US at like, Amish farmers markets. I could be wrong though, as this was some time ago.

      Basically the same idea, but if that can is the size as a snus can, these things are pretty big compared to OT's or Picanellis.

        I haven't seen them until Troutstroker showed them to me, but like I said over there, the tobacco is probably similar (you can even use it like snus apparently) but it's a sneaky way of getting around the EU ban on snus and still selling SM products. If it goes well, they may release other SM brands as well.

          I've seen those too, I must admit I'm tempted to try it.

            These look like the rope tobaccos that can be smoked or snussed. Samuel Gawith or Gawith&Hoggarth are very popular.
            I've smoked the Black Irish. :shock: :shock:

            For pipe smoking you slice them into thin wafers, and the nicotine will make a strong man cry.

              I keep hearing how strong those ropes are, some of the people at snuffhouse rasp em into snuff too. I guess I'll be trying those next as I've tried everything else but.

                How new are these? Can't find anything on the Swedish Match site. I've tried rope tobacco and the Picannel and OT's but all were too sweet.

                  I'd like to try those, myself....I have never tried OT or any of the other rolled/plug-type tobaccos. Where else can you get these?

                    You can get Oliver Twist from most of the snus websites, but the only decent site I've seen the General and Roda plugs is Rajek's.

                      It looks like snus that has been repackeged solely for the intention to get around the EU ban on snus. I doubt you will see it marketed anywhere but in the EU.

                        Hey hey hey.

                        I want that. I've had piccanel, they're too damn small.

                        Roda Lacket sounds good. I like it as snus. Might be a nice in between to loose snus and portions. A portion without the bag!

                          Portion without the bag, huh? That's my big problem with portions...not enough flavor leaking out of the bag. If I could get los flavor with portion cleanliness...look out!
