    Oliver Twist Tobacco Bites

people, i am chomping at the bit to try these - http://www.northerner.com/en/snus/No...cco_Bites-275/

i can try one of each and it'll cost me about $25, about as much as i spend at the watering hole drinking cheap beer in a night. soo... if any of you out there have tried these, can you share your wisdom and insight and tell me what you thought of 'em? hell, even if you're dumb and have no insight and hated 'em that's good. do they give you a good nic fix? looks like you might have to use 2 at a time... how long do they last? what does the flavor taste like? after they've been in your mouth for a while do they unravel? stuff like that. i'm gonna get some of these regardless, just want to see what i'm getting myself into... thanks for any observations.

I used up to four at a time with no real nic hit. They also don't taste pleasant enough for me to just do it for the taste (especially when my local tobacconist flips them for $7 a go), although I've only tried the Sunberry. I know some people from snuffhouse liked them, I think sage was one of them. If they had roped tobacco for sale, I might pick up one in a different flavour, but I don't find chew very economical. I still have to spit, and they lose flavour after about 30 minutes for me. I'd rather invest my $7 in two cans of snus, or a couple tins of snuff.

You can get them from Northerner for much cheaper. $3.81 a little can

I LOVE the Royal, arctic is good too. Hard for me to comment about nicotine issues as I keep myself filled good with snus. But I love the taste, just an occasional treat for me like once a month or two.

I tried the originals, I think they're great. It tastes kind of like licorice at first then fades to more of a Redman chew type flavor. They're pretty tiny so I think most would use multiple bites a time but I always went with one at a time to keep it on the DL in the office. They don't last very long for me, maybe 15 minutes but that might be because I like to start chewing on them after awhile. Not much to say about the nic hit. I'm going to get more originals and also the rest of the flavors next time I make a Northerner order.

The best tobacco bites you can get are made by Swedish Match.

They make General Tobacco Bites and Roda Lacket Tobacco Bites. They are much bigger than the oliver twists and you get a massive nic hit from them.

Northerner dont carry the Swedish Match Chew but I get it from English Tobacconists.

thanks guys. i'm gonna get me some of these, i have to. they look like little bits of beef jerky, and i like to gnaw on stuff. i'll see how tiny they are and how many i need to cram in my orifice for my vitamin n. it won't be a waste of time or money, just a new experience. thanks again, you people rock! if i like 'em then i'll try what harpdog says too.

They are tiny and there isn't any kind of nic hit to really speak of, but I do like the way they taste. I would say that they are worth trying at least once.

I don't know how they fit so much heart burn into something the size of a match box.
