Camel Sticks/Strips/Orbs

Is anyone in the testmarket/sales market for these, and has anyone tried them? Haven't heard much about them lately and I thought they were going to get a push from RJR.

I had a member from here send me some in a trade.


I was very excited to try them when I received the package.

They are disgusting... The orbs are not that bad, just like Ariva/Stonewall dissolvable tobacco but with a gross 'mellow' taste.

The sticks dissolve in to a gross stringy paste in that 'mellow' flavor and creates A TON of saliva you do not want to swallow.

The strips dissolve within a few seconds on your tongue and coat your bottum teeth in a brown film.

The nicotine is not very noticeable in any of them, just like their snus..

I've tried the orbs and my girl tried the strips. Nasty indeed, it's over the counter NRT basically. If anyone wants to try any of these I'm driving to Portland tonight for the weekend. Portland and some other city (Austin I think) are the test markets I'm aware of. PM me or post here with your requests and I'll pick it up, then we can trade. I'll have to set some kind of limit but if 5 people or so want some it's all good.

LMAO TOAO!! I guess you didn't like em huh? Sorry bout that. I thought they tasted ok but I couldn't really find the nic hit. Surely they are marketed to the younger folks.

The strips seems to disappear on your tonge in a few minutes. The sticks will last awhile if you give em a chance and are by far the better delivery system of the three. The tablets are kinda nasty.


They are interesting and I would say to at least try them for the hell of it. But I don't think any of us would actually continue to use these when we have real snus to enjoy.

When I was on leave in CO several of the local tobacco stores had the little display box filled with the dissolvables. They come in interesting blue packaging and are said to be child resistant, although I assume that has more to do with the strength and/or brain power of the child in question. At any rate, I have all 3 kinds, plus a sampler pack, and a brochure. When I get a chance I will post pics and let you guys see for yourselves. In the first picture are the Sticks, Strips and finally Orbs. Each box contains 12 pieces of the respective item, and are dispensed through a clever little device specific to the item being dispensed as you can see from the second picture. I have used all of them several times and I can say that the Sticks are my go to drug. They last a long time and keep that darn cig out of my mouth! The strips dissolve WAY too fast and the orbs are a close second. With both of the latters I need to use more than one to keep the urges at bay, but the sticks have come through for me on more than one occasion. These are selling right now for $2.56 each and will last according to your necessities. Need more pictures or a shot of the brochure lemme know. Also let me know if you aren't able to find them in your neck of the woods. ;-)

The orbs and the strips sound interesting if only for the fact that you could pop one in at any time and everyone around would just think it was just a breath mint. I think I'd at least try them if they were in my area.

I can say, people have no idea what they are. I just sit at work with a stick in my mouth and no one is any the wiser.
