    Oliver Twists?

I ordered a couple of tins with my latest snus order. I think I ordered some mint flavored twists. i have never used these. How do they compare with snus? Do you spit? Do they disolve in your mouth?

I don't spit, but I notice this tobacco's juices in the stomach sometimes. I'm talking about OT Original, which is made of fire cured, fermented tobacco. The other varieties are made with air cured tobacco AFAIK, but I haven't tried them yet.

OT bits don't dissolve but are easy to spit out. It's old-fashioned spun tobacco made from whole leaves. I use it regularly as an alternation.

    http://www.oliver-twist.com/ has some useful informations.

    Cheers!

I have some of these and I find them a great alternative to snus. They really taste like tobacco, but are so small you can stick them anywhere inside your mouth and produce no spit, you do not chew them, just let them sit. They last a long time too, and give plenty of nicotine. Unlike snus, however, I think they may contain a high level of nitrosamines.

What Hoffman says is true, the twists and snus have similar levels of nitrosamines.

I tried the twist, I thought they were good. If you need the nicotine in a hurry, just chew on it a little.

I have tried twist many times.

it has it's good sides, but I prefer snus.

But when you guys order twist from america, how moist is it?

I bought some o it in denmark (ran out of snus during the roskilde festival)
and I found that it was completely dry, a contrast to the stuff I am
used to in Norway, witch is a bit moister.
Not like snus but not like a old raisin either.

Twists are good. If you have a really dry one - just carefully put it in and let it get moist - it will after a few minutes and then it tastes like a regular, fresher one. I like Tropical the most. Twists seem stronger than Piccanell - in case anyone wonders.
