          Interesting, found it here: http://www.amazon.com/Chimo-El-Toro-...keywords=chimo

Not too bad a price if the shipping wasn't horrible....it doesn't look like ground tobacco, it's appearance reminds me of tar....at least in the Amazon photo....

What is it? all I find is that its processed similar to Snus, is it like mashed condensed Los with a ton of salt?

Edit £20 delivered for 12 on ebay, any UKers brave enough to try some too?

Hi, This is other kind of smokeless Tobacco, low TSNA depend of the apropiate Brand, like El Toro. There are many rural and handcrafted manufactures, remember this is an ancestral product.
The Chimo El Toro contains Sugar Burnt, Extract of Tobacco, Sodium Carbonate and Spices like cinnamon.

Oh man, I can see this being trying savoury flavour eliquids, crabjuice, roast chicken or bacon ice in sweetners, yum.

So basically spiced, tobacco infused molasses, doesn't sound too bad then.

                        Ve_arau is you is it?

Ha ha! I'll still treat it with the utmost caution if you don't mind.

Snus is only as safe as it is because of years of government funded research and reformulation of the original product and the hygiene regulation in Sweden is second to none ... There are also years and years of good medical research in to snus ... I can see very little of that with chino on the internet. Be careful not to advertise things too enthusiastically without good solid facts behind it ... we're a pretty intelligent bunch here most of the time.

I hear you SJ, if I do like it I don't think I'd be using it often because of the sugar content & in contact with my teeth, also a little unsure about nicotine content.

0.3% is 3mg of nic, per g? don't sound the levels to get many nic sick.

Yes I am, My Name is Luis Araujo from Venezuela. I am the manufacturer, please let me know its taste, It is strong in nicotine more than snus and chewing tobacco because the tobacco leaves are boiled and left then.

                                Hi You are right
the main advantage of Chimo El Toro and SNUS over others Smokeless Tobacco Is The TSNA (attached a paper). High Levels of Nicotine and alkalinity make more Strong El Toro than snus. It is very important make differences between brands of Chimo for a major knowlege. Only few Brands works with Sodium Carbonate: El Tigrito, El Toro, San Carleno and Andinito. Brands as Chinata, Chakaro, Vencedor, Toro Loco, El Padrote replace Sodium Carbonate by Ash of Mamon and other trees, so obtaining very high levels of PH and high TSNA.
