What pipe are you thinking of buying?

They do a lovely version that is all black with a smooth finish but it is double the price :-s

It's not a great smoker or the best Peterson i've had, but i still like it. I rarely smoke.

I smoked my first clay today with some Old Dublin and it is the best pipe smoke i've had, no question. I've decided i don't like the wood flavour you get with smoking a briar pipe. I'm thinking about getting another couple of clays as they are as cheap as corn-cobs but much better imo.

Meerschaum is completely awesome for getting the true taste of a given blend. I have a meerschaum churchwarden that I've grown to really adore. If I am trying a tobacco blend for the first time, I nearly always try it in that pipe. And when it comes to matured VA, I prefer that pipe over any other.

I've been looking at some of the Meerschaums, and I like this one:



It would look much nicer if the bowl was black instead of white, but I also like the way this one stands out.
