Yeah---definitely just have to consider all available evidence and make an educated decision, plus try to do things to mitigate the risks you do take.

And it is a dice roll at the end of the day.

J.R.R. Tolkien, for instance----constant pipe smoker, died in his early 80's. Ripe old age for a man.

Frank Sinatra smoked Camels(unfiltered, to boot)from his teens until his death at 82 from heart failure. Would he have lived longer if he wasn't a smoker? Dunno...he was 82.

His friends Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr weren't quite so lucky, on the other hand. So, there ya go..

I know mate... it's kind of pot luck. I'm only thinking of when i travel, what is more appealing hot snus (as no fridge) or a few bowls. Maybe both is a good idea.

I had some real 'moments' when i used to smoke when travelling... smoking on rooftops or wherever... or after a meal... i love snus to bits but would consider the pipe as an option if i'd consider smoking. Like you say, it's a cae of making an informed decision.
