    Tried the e-cigarette

    I've finally had the chance to take a few drags of an e-cigarette.

    I normally didn't want to try it but I did, being the only nicotine form I haven't had yet.... was curious to see how it is.

    First of all, the flavor was "tobacco" - "Kent 8" .......... but it reminded me of the Hokah Rose, definitely taste like hookah which I didn't enjoy that much..................... it's nothing like a cigarette drag..... I had a nasty burning sensation in my chest and throat not to mention I didn't get any type of buzz either.

    Now I understand why so many smokers go back to cigarettes after smoking e-cigs.

    Bottom line: I won't smoke an e-cig ever again lol .........maybe only if I can't pop in a portion of snus.......which probably can't happen lol

    I bought a bunch of stuff to try to quit with them... bottom line? Its just way too much shit to deal with. Buying juice, batteries, cartomizers, atomizers, cartridges... blah blah blah. Not to mention filling them up with juice and charging the batteries all for something that is actually pretty inconsistent to begin with. I like the prospect of being able to know what your getting each and every time you open the snus can without worrying about carying different parts and pieces with me. Now I just gotta cope with the huge amount of nicotine!

      I like the E-cig, but it can be a PITA. Failure rate is low, but often enough at times to be annoying, you ever have snus that didn't work?!? However if there is the action/habit addiction that is clung on to you it can help with that. I snus more often however I find the E-cig enjoyable while driving or out and around other smokers. The flavors that come with the beginner kits really suck by the way. The one thing the E-cig has over snus right now is it is quick and easily available. I have a vendor or two instate that can deliver to me via USPS within a day or so easily. The advantage snus has is universal discretion.

        one more thing that happened with the e-cig

        apart from the chest and throat irritation/pain .... my nose felt a bit irritated only from a couple of drags

          Did you get the primer liquid off of it. That stuff is nasty and sounds like what you are describing.

            You could have a PG allergy. Propelyne glycol (sp?) Used in the juice effects some people negatively. There are VG options (vegetable glycerin) that people use. If I can quit cigs with snus; I've thought about using the e cig with 0 mg e juice just to have different flavors to puff on every once in a while.

              what do you mean?

              Which liquid? The e-cig was perfectly functional and just been loaded with liquid.....

                My wife quit smoking with an e-cig a year ago this month. She hasn't had a cigarette since, but vapes regularly. So I can say from that personal experience that they work for some people. Not my cup of tea, but after 25 years of smoking and trying everything e-Cigs were a Godsend for my wife.

                    It had the cigarette, the liquid container and another small tip on the end......

                      The video? Just send me the model number, it sounds like it is a 2 piece with some whistle tip but not sure if that is what you are saying.

                        yes that's it ... it has a whisle plastic tip... came with 18 of those... my friend told me

                        it's branded : Light Smoke .......can't tell you more.... and it's bought locally....

                              Ok so that is a true three piece, the tip is where the liquid actually is (called the cartridge) the small thing that connects directly to the battery is the atomizer (heating element). That atomizer often has a primer liquid on it that is pretty nasty to inhale. Typically user blow the fluid out of it to clean it off first.
