I love a little nasal snuff... i adore the scents but i don't seem to get much of long lasting hit off the brands i use... then again i'm usually loaded on stark snus.

SNUS is certainly a better route than combustible tobacco. Electronic cigarettes convey their nicotine dependent on inhalation depth and amount of nicotine in an e-juice. I have used them 18 months, have used SNUS as a backup for plane flights or long gatherings in a no smoke and vape area. Puffing an ecig does not cause inhalation of vapor into the lungs to any extent. Absorption rates are lower in the mouth and trachea than in the lungs. I tend to use an ecigarette in one of two ways. With my low voltage device (ego, kgo, 3.7v pen style or a blu or angel device) I will puff more like a pipe and use a solution that is 18-24 mg/ml. With a higher voltage PV (5-6V) I tend to inhale and use 8-12 mg/ml solutions. They seem to both accomplish the same thing. SNUS does contain more of the tobacco alkaloids than most vaping juices and this often accounts for the couple of day period where there is a feeling that there is not sufficient nicotine. That usually goes away, although some people will use a bit of SNUS or buy tobacco ejuice that has some whole tobacco extract in it as a part of the mix.

The caveat is puffing on an ecig can get levels up and work, but the e-juice may need to be higher in strength. The other caveat is that one needs to vape the juice, you never drink or swish it, the levels with that can be rapidly toxic.

Not all nasal snuff is the same! Took me over a year to find that out! Certain brands really give me a buzz... others do nothing for me!

I'm wondering if i should try something like an Iolite then rather than an e-cig and then putting some whole leaf in it (maybe even rustica) and giving it ago.

You know what, that's good to hear because i do like nasal snuff. I'll have to give it a go more often. I adore stuff like eucalyptus or sandalwood... and even ones on occasion that smell like a whore's boudoir!

Glad to hear it! Snus is wonderful :-)

Hmm, I'd be careful mate, you already use stark snus. Maybe just vape an epipe AS a pipe? You can adjust the nicotine, but I would just be cautious if using multiple delivery methods

thank you for posting wdstckdrvape: my main wonder was how the different devices e-cigs versus e-pipes were smoked and whether there was as much difference as there would be between the analogue equivalents.

Major issue is combustion. Harm reduction is lack of combustion and SNUS, snuff are certainly in that category. Careful that you watch for nicotine toxicity every time you change from one method to another. Happy not combusting!

Oh i'd leave the stark out for ages before and after using it like i do when i use my briar. ODing on nicotine is not good!

You can purchase e-juice that contains real tobacco alkaloids. I have an Iolite... you can use it with plant material, e-juice or a combination of both!

Brilliant, i might get something like an Iolite. Call me stupid but are Iolites okay to use with gas? is there any chance you'd take in the gas?

Just a note... I don't use the Iolite in public... get some strange looks. I use a Ploom in public... looks like an e-cig and you can also load it with a combo of stuff.
