So I finally bought an e-cig

Darwin, my buddy is a distributor of several vaporizers. He is making a few prototype adapters to use for oil. He is sending me a free one for my opinion.

I just got back from sam club....and I'm useing the NJOY now. Less than $10 for the kit and less than $10 for 5 refills. Not bad at all....and much cheaper than the disposable sticks. thanks

edit: the menthol flavor isn't as good as the disposables imo. Thats kind of a good thing.....as it will keep me from useing the hell out of it. Snus is really where its at for me but I like to puff something other than herb. This is a cheaper alternative to vaping herb. When I receive my prototype adapter I will try other oils I suppose.

Trust me PP. Do the eroll. Your on your own re menthol but don't do all VG. ERoll works thought free with juice that is thinner than VG. So 70PG and 30VG. I'm sure there is a menthol on the 2012 best juice awards. That would be a good start. No less than 18mg no more than 24 mg nic since you snus already. The right flavor juice for you is the hard part now. Know one can really judge your tastes. That part can be fun actually. Note. On the kit some of them come with only one "atty cone or cover. You'll need to order a extra one. As little as you puff this'll do ya quite well. A syringe with some larger gage short needle works well to load the tanks. Yes. Is a tiny atty tank set up. Not a carto with filler
like the NJoy. Much better flavor and vapor.

I've been doing some research. seems like there are too many to narrow it down by myself. I want something cheap since its would only be a part time thing [hopefully]. A kit would be nice so I can get everything at one time. But I don't want the cheapest out there and have problems with it. There are so many to choose from......I may just buy a few more of the Blu or the Encores and see how that goes. I may decide to not even bother to continue useing them.

Funny tho....it appears several of the manufacturers are within a few miles of me.....but they only sell online. ;(


I don't mind spending a few dollars but I would love to find one that most everyone agrees is a good starter kit. Lord, there is a lot to choose from and to learn about.



I'm only interested in menthol flavoring and a liquid that may satisfy my cravings, at least better than the cheap sticks.

can these NJOY refills be reloaded? I have all sizes of syringes right here if thats what it takes to refill em.

all I need is the oil. Is this possible or do I have to open up a depleted refill and check for myself. If I can refill em then I can try as many different menthols as are available

Nope the NJOY Kings disposables are not refillable. NJOY also, along with a great bunch of others, sells two piece battery/"cartomizer" setups that are not meant to be refillable but some do anyway. The rest of the e-universe consists of many and varied types of battery units and types of cartridges and/or tanks that may be refilled with "e-juice" which comes in many hundreds of variations.

Something you should know PP... if you are using your vaporizer for herb.... ejuice can taint the flavors... especially if you use herb and juice in the same device.

Additionally I recommend you stick to 100% VG juice... there's a reason 100% VG JUICES COST MORE!

Ease of cleaning, cheap cartridge replacements... to name a few.

You can spend BIG $$$ on this ecig stuff... I personally like batteries with direct connect to my PC for power... by the time it's all said and done, I have six batteries so I can rotate juices just like my snus. Bottom line... you get what you pay for with this stuff. PP should keep that in mind when he makes a purchase.

Tastes great and doesn't smell up the house. But I don't get ANY nicotine satisfaction at all whatsoever with the e-cig. Sometimes I use it and 5 minutes later need to put in a snus.

IMHO.... The Joytech ego-c with the TWIST VV Battery (3.2V to 4.8V @1000mAh) Is the best setup ever.... The initial cost is a bit, But not much and has a very good reputation in the E-cig world, The sky is the limit, But.... I bought this set-up for my daughter and she loves it as do I.... What you bought is crap compared to this.... PP if you think the snus world has alot of flavors, Man! The vape world has 10 times more.... I have taken several hits off my daughters and it's just like thg a cigg and the nic hit is just about the same as a cig, I was blown away..... I would go for at least the 70% VG and 30 PG at at least 12mg to 18mg.... The vape world is way different in MG than snus.... VG Is the amount of vapor that is produced, the PG is the throat hit.... There is way more to it than that, But gives you an idea

This is the route i took, and i can say that the ego-c TWIST battery is the best you can get. I also got the Aga-S (Mini Aga) rebuildable tank atomizer, however i think i'll get the bigger rebuildable tank sometime soon, because it can be a little bit fiddly doing the coils. As for the nicotine satisfaction, i mix my own juice, i use a 54mg/ml nicotine VG base liquid, made with UK pharmaceutical grade nicotine, mixed with VG and a few drops of FlavourArt's flavour.

Ecigs remind me of the Star Trek TNG episode Encounter at Farpoint, or whatever the title is. It's when they get put on trial by Q, and it takes place in a post apocalyptic courtroom. The guards have these drug huffing devices they periodically take a hit from(can't remember what's in them, or if they ever said). It's an unglamorous, and unartful method of using nicotine. Cigarettes to Ecigs is like the difference between smoking opium, and firing heroin. Opium(cigarettes/snus) has some sensual characteristics with flavor, and application. It's a more relaxed method of getting your drug. While heroin(Ecigs) is just about efficient drug delivery, with some commodity flavors put on top to make it seem like something. No art, and no skill in production.

Pretty much... I am in the odd position of pretty much hating cigs, having never smoked them, but loving snus / pipes / cigars, because of their taste. I want something that looks like the Joyetech line...

Maybe I should just buy the Joyetech line lolz
