What I consider the perfect set up for vaping E-Cig

I posted some of this in another thread but thought it would be worth starting a new thread.

My wife quit smoking with an e-cig 3 years ago and has run the gamut from the 510 through different permutations of Egos. Finally have hit upon perfection I think. I picked up the e-cig myself several months ago, just for fun. Snus is what helped me quit smoking, also 3 years ago. For me the e-cig would never have worked on it's own until I just stumbled upon the WTA juices which are being discussed at length in other threads. I can quit snus with WTA, not that I'm going to, but I could if I wanted to.

Anyway, here is what I recommend to anybody who is serious about getting into vaping. Forget about the crap you can buy at Walgreens, the disposables and what not, they are weak and expensive in the long run.

Ego Twist batteries (I like the 650 because they're not too big) or if you want a Bigger battery the Vision Spinner is great. Couple these batteries with Kanger T3 or MT3 clearomizers and you're all set. MyVaporStore.com has a mix and match set - 2 batteries, 2 clearomizers, and a charger for $69. Pick up some replacement heads for the clearomizers for $3.00 each and get your juice somewhere else. Aromaejuice.com is the only place currently supplying WTA juices. If you want regular juice mtbakervapor.com is great and has the best prices. Also, go to ecf for coupon codes, all of these suppliers have them there. There are many great juice vendors. My wife prefers 100% VG juice and she has no need for WTA as she has successfully quit smoking without it. AmericanELiquidstore.com is a great vendor for VG Juice. They always have a juice for sale, 60 ml for $15 which is half price. If you find a flavor that you like there, stock up when that flavor goes on sale.

    Best Wishes and Happy Vaping

    Great post mate. thanks
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Sounds like good solid advice, the only thing I have issue with is the liquids from AmericanELiquidStore. I picked up their menthol with the 510 kit I ordered, and compared to the higher end liquids I bought, their menthol liquid tastes plain and generic. Like a cheap menthol cigarette.

I can't speak to menthol, since neither one of us smoked menthol or vaped it. She loves the regular Tobacco and the Keoke Coffee from them. I was using nothing but the Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco and liked it a lot, prior to finding my way to WTA.

Hmm.. interesting. I tend to gravitate away from tobacco flavored liquids. I find that I am looking for something that tastes like the real thing, and it tastes fake and artificial in comparison. I don't get that feeling with other flavors.

dman21, I wouldn't write them off completely even if you found the menthol to be not so great. They have a lot of other flavors that aren't tobacco that you might like, and you have the added benefit of supporting a small business in your own state.

Very true. Even if I don't use them for liquid, I still find they are a good supplier for parts. Who knows? Maybe in the future, I will pick up other flavors to try.

They have good fruit flavors if that's your thing. They also now give the option of adjusting the VG/PG mixture. Originally they were 100% VG. Top notch vendor in my opinion (AmericanELiquidStore.com)

I bought the e-CAB e-cig, and am quite happy wiith it. Gives great hits. Battery is going on 3 days and still running strong (I am not a constant vaper, just a couple times a day. When I got into e-cigs a handful of years ago, I had a whole box full of stuff, different models, batteries, USB charger pack. This time around, I am not diving into the tech area. All I need is a good hit when I draw off of it, and the eCAB is doing just that. Haven't even gotten to the second battery yet.

Not dissing the setup by the OP, just stating the eCAB is a good e-cig, that gives good vapor hits.

I have heard good things about the e-CAB. There are so many possible combinations for vaping, it's all very interesting.

Thanks for the post OP, ecigs can be a bewildering world and its nice to have someone just straight out tell me what experience has led them to believe is the best.

As such, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the kit you described above. I've only messed with gas station ecigs until this point, and have enjoyed them well enough, but I want to know what "real" vaping is all about. Will report back here once I've tried out the kit.

                        Great, great, great!

I am currently waiting for my first kit to arrive, and that is pretty much exactly what I got.

                        Here is what I got

Vision Spinner VV eGo Battery 1300mAh - Blue
Vision Spinner VV eGo Battery 1300mAh - Black
Vision Ego Clearomizer 2.0 - Blue
Kanger EVOD eGo Clearomizer - Black
                        Kanger Protank
                        Kanger MT3 eGo B/C Clearomizer - Green

I am gonna wait to order the replacement heads for the clearomizers to see if there are any I particularly like first.

                        SO STOKED!!

Yes, thanks for asking. I actually bought the package deal linked to above at myvaporstore, so I got the charger and the usb connection. I also bought some wta eliquid and some non-wta eliquid. I should be set up pretty well.

ok, sooo can I ask a super duper newbie question?

I received the setup indicated in the OP. I filled my clearomizer, attached the battery, but how do I get it to hit? am i supposed to hold the button, not hold the button? I have two batteries and neither of them are hitting.

edit: nevermind, got it! just took a second fiddling with the button.
