Red Tail Vanilla Splash WTA review

This morning, I was feeling a bit adventurous, so I opened up a new e liquid and decided on that one. Overall, this isn't bad. I don't see myself ordering this one again, but it's still decent. It definitely tastes of vanilla. The only deal breaker is that for my taste, there's a tad too much of a throat hit from this. If you like vanilla and a big throat hit, this might be the liquid for you. http://www.aromaejuice.com/Vanilla-Splash-WTA-Vanilla-Splash-WTA.htm

Its the first one I tried when my Aroma package arrived. Thought I loved it at first, then I wasn't so sure. I think the taste is similar to how a pipe being smoked smells, if that makes any sense. Not how smoking a pipe would taste, but rather how it smells when there is someone smoking a pipe. Thats what the taste of the vanilla splash reminds me of.

And one other thing, that I am not particulary fond of, the smell of the exhaled vapor really sticks to things, like clothing. I could smell that vanilla on me long after I was done vaping it.

I know I will revisit it, and I will probably finish the bottle, but like you, prob won't order it again. But I love getting a throat hit from my e-juice, but I did not get much of one from the Vanilla. Seemed super smooth. In fact, not getting much of a throat hit from any of the Red Tail Vapor flavors I am trying, at least not compared to Aroma's P-38, and Beatle Juice. Now those had decent throat hits.

But I am absolutely loving the Peechy Keen and the Mint Mango Berry flavors. I can vape both of those all day long. I have not tried Grandma's apple pie yet (only flavor I have ordered that I still have to try). I will say I am not a fan of the smell. Smells "burned" to me. But I will not judge it by its smell. Going forward I want to order Aloha, and Dark Honey Tobacco.

Strange. Red Tail Tobacco Road WTA has a very mild throat hit but with mass quantities of tasty vapor. Would've figured these two have the same base liquid. Can mere flavoring have that big an impact?

I think throat hit is different for everyone. I am like you, I find the Red Tail line to have little to no throat hit (or a smooth throat hit if you will), and the Aroma line seems to pack a punch with their throat hit.

Indeed. GI Joe seems very aggressive in that regard.

I am noticing the smell thing too. At least vanilla isn't an awful smell

Yeah, But you also need to remember that the more PG based the E-juice is the more the throat hit and less vapor, The more VG based the E-liquid is the lesser of a throat hit and produces more vapor.

The Aroma Line is 70/30 PG/VG So More throat hit and the RedTail Line is 70/30 VG/PG thus less throat hit and more vapor.... IMO I think the RedTail Line has more VG then stated... But IDK....

Yep, that much I do understand, which is why the Aroma line has more of a throat hit. When I ordered the 4 flavors, I swore one of them was Aroma, but they all ended up being Red Tail,so the only Aroma I have is the orignal 2 I ordered, P-38 and Beatle Juice. I am not much for a non menthol smoke, so Beatle Juice is not for me. I do like the P-38, but have been getting so much enjoyment out of the fruity flavors, that I have not wanted any P-38. Thats why I need to order some fruity flavors, in the Aroma line, so I can have the throat hit back. But damn this Peechy Keen and Mint Mango Berry are good. lol. Can't believe I got sucked back into the e-cig world. But the tech now is so cool compared to when I was into it and spending way too much money on it, back in the beginning of e-cigs.

Just for comparisons' sake, I filled up my clearo with the last of my Aroma Aloha and I really think the Aroma is way smoother. As someone else just posted, I think it could be the flavor itself that gives off more of a throat hit. It tastes very similar to the Green Smoke vanilla cartomizers, but better and more satisfying. All I know is I can now survive being home on a weekend without a cigarette thanks to WTA.
