    New candidate for cheapest mod:

    http://www.smokerevolt.com/18650-XL-...od-_p_443.html

I posted this one before but it is now on sale for a ridiculous $13.65 which easily makes it the cheapest 18650 mod. I have/had one. Worked just great until I managed to drop it from atop a ladder onto a brick surface. Ordering another today. Takes any 510/eGo device and looks good doing it. Very nice stainless satin finish and good clicky button. Very compact but the tube ID is a bit large so the battery rattles a bit however it should hold the biggest protected 18650 anyone makes. Absolute maximum bang for the buck with this one. Just don't drop it from ten feet onto bricks.

Got Vapes has the new vv vw I taste avail for 49.95 and a free iclear 16. I had to return my pretty I taste because it wasn't the vw version I expected. They actually had the wrong discription of it at the time and later fixed it. This price is only $9.95 more and adds the free iclear 16. I can't buy it. I ordered the big SVD thru Fast Tech because it finally came up as battery only no kit and was low priced of course plus free shipping. It will be my backup for when my 8 month old Vamo dies. Since I use them part time that cold be awhile. I trade off between a variety still. Some day I might simplify and narrow my choices down but not soon I don't think. Must get my monies worth! Ha ha like 4 years from now I'll be caught uupland yes I did ride today. Rode yesterday and will ride tomorrow. Only if it rains do I not ride at this time. My mare is being the mare I always wanted after such a long on again off again time of it. 10 years. Never give up!

Glad you mentioned GotVapes Fay because I just got something from them I am very happy with. It is their Tank Air Flow Controller which is used to adjust the draw of a tank. Couldn't be more pleased. Have my Ptank drawing exactly the same as my Vivi Novas. It's cheap too--$3.45 and it likely works with a lot of other tanks as well although it looks to have been built specifically for the Pro. Looks like it belongs there. If you think your ProTank has a draw that is too airy this is the perfect solution.

Sorry for my ignorance but what is the point of this is it a better battery or does it hold a battery.

Yeah Paco this type of device is known as a "mod" which just short for modified. They do hold bigger batteries. An 18650 battery for instance has about four times the capacity of a typical 650 mah eGo battery. There are many kinds of varying capability and widely varying price. This type of device usually, but not always, uses a removable battery that must be charged outside the device on an appropriate charger. This type of battery is named according to its size in millimeters. An 18650 is 18mm in diameter and 65mm in length. An 18350 would be 18mm in diameter and 35mm in length, and so forth. The bottom line is a bigger battery means more vape time between charges. There are a number of different types of mods available but I won't go into all that unless you'd like to hear about them.

There are slight variations in lengths depending on how many mahs and sometimes a mod fits a flat top better than button top. So my solution is to stay mid range on mahs to be safe and I ALWAYS buy AW batteries. Except for the one time I did the panasonic special from fast tech, but they are back ups. I'm a nob about batteries and to save a few quarters doesn't make me feel good. Buying the best does. I sound like a commercial for AW but simply put they use the best and the rejects are labelled by other names and sold for less.
And I bought a mod that telescopes. You don't have to worry about slight variations then but I also have box mods. If the spring gets too compressed this is a problem. Things will happen. So I stay in the mid range and pass on the high 3400 mah types.

Got it guys. So do the 18650 listed come with a battery or it also needs to be purchased? Thanks as always for the info.

Many mods are available in combo kits that include a battery and sometimes a charger. Almost all can also be had without accessories since many people have batteries and chargers already. Frequently if a mod requires a particular type of battery, of which there are quite a number, then the web site listing will usually say so. There are ways to screw this up, mainly by getting the wrong type of battery. It can be quite confusing. Always ask questions on this or another forum before you pull the trigger on an order.

Further boggling of the mind can occur when contemplating sundry battery chemistries, flat top or button top, various types of short and overload protection, and a welter of sizes such as 14500, 16340, 18350, 18500, 22650, and frack only knows what all else. It's enough to drive a new vaper right around the bend.

Yeah! You got that right! I don't know Man! To tell you the truth for now I'll stick with my ego-c twist and vision spinner with the my Kanger evod, Kanger pro tank and vision Mini Vivi Nova... It is a great setup and not too complicated and easy to use... But I am intrigued by all these mods, But another time and will research it further as I go....

The batteries that might come with a mod in kit form are nearly always junk.

Is the ThermoVape Cera a good device for vaping e-juice?

Unless you already possess one it would be a poor choice for general e-cig vaping activities because it is completely incompatible with with essentially 100% of the widely varying and capable hardware pieces used by typical vapers. Expensive as hell too. Even if you already have one of these units it would make far more sense to buy an inexpensive beginners e-cig setup for 20-40 bucks.

I forgot to mention that I did end up ordering him the 1100mah ego with the VV the charger and 5 of the CE6s on fasttech. Didn't want to wait to see if a new coupon rolled out or not. Cost around $20 so big woop if I would have saved a buck on the 5% deal. I placed the order on 6/11 and everything said would ship in 1-2 days and I qualified for upgraded USPS first class 5-8 day shipping. That's great but uh its been almost a week now and it still hasn't even shipped lol. Oh well good thing I don't really need it for another month and a half but ya as I'm sure others have said don't trust what fasttech says for shipping times.

I placed an order on the 11th, they got it in the mail on the 15th, it finally got thru the first sorting facility in Hong Kong today, the 17th. I'm sure it will be at least another week. It wouldn't be so bad if they would ship the same day or next day. Glad I only ordered xtra clearomizers and don't need them atm.
