Luckily I have had absolutely no one bother me anywhere out in the world as of yet but I haven't been to a doctor's office, a courthouse, or a movie theatre in the last two months. Snus rules for those places. I did vape in an Old Chicago Taproom last weekend but those places are glorified bars anyway so there were no objections even from the wait staff. It has certainly got the attention of smokers in a way that snus never has. Makes sense I guess.

Hell, part of my kitchen looks like a meth lab... wait until you start DIY with the ejuices! Anymore, the only purpose snus serves me is something to do while I'm trying to create the perfect ejuice.
Answer me this... why did you end up with so many cigars? You'll come to find that like cigars, one is never enough.
Go ahead... get a basic two battery starter kit... soon you will discover it ain't that simple.
Here's one for you... I don't vape outside of my house... that's right... I'm a closet vaper! Thank God for snus... and even then people look at you as though you are some white trash hillbilly... they equate snus to American chew... and you know the types of people that do that... the young... the uneducated... the part of society that is "unwashed."
Hardcore... maybe... but then again half my freezer is stocked with snus! I still have some Claq Qui... do you?
I don't need the latest and greatest Setup because I found it... It's all i need
I do admit this is an addictive hobby, But so is snus...
The only reason that ECF is so big is that many on there wanted to quit smoking and the only thing they knew and know is E-cigs.... Hell Man! if that is all I heard of 3 yrs ago was an E-cig and it was, I would have never quit smoking because of the high failure rate I heard of then I found snus and that was it... To me my E-cig setup with WTA E-juice is just another distracion from going back to smoking and can and does compliment snus...
I used to smoke some cigars, But found myself inhaling a bit of the smoke, Now I don't have to worry about that as now I prefer the WTA E-Juice....
Edit: BTW... snus will always be my mainstay, But the vape of WTA E-Juice is a nice way to relax just like a cigar or pipe IMHO....
Mostly when I find what i'm looking for in WTA E-Juice I will only be vaping 3-4 times a day at most... It's all I need and will ever need.... I'm not a smoker, pretend smoker or wanna be smoker nor am I a vaper...
I'm A snuser...

Agreed, I was one of those big time hard core smokers for 40 years.... Hell Man! on A Friday night and all weekend of drinking I would go through 2 packs in one night chain smoking one after another and not even know it... I would put one out light another and my wife would say you just put one out, I would say no I didn't and smoke on... Then she got deathly ill 5yrs ago, almost died, Quit and doesn't smoke at all or use anything yet she smoked 2 packs a day and is now a big time Anti- smoking anti tobacco insane freakin' bitch.... WTF.... Who the hell does that... Ummm! Her...

@ darwin...I probably won't be using out of the house tho.....unless I really get really addicted.
@ Jag... yea I made a mistake its 1.8 and 2.8 but 2.4 is probably perfect with the benefit of a 5 pack deal.
I'm now starting to figure out where to buy it.
Juices? heres my current list of WTA thats apparently only available at Aroma
WTA P-38
WTA Dark Honey Tobacco
WTA Miami Cream Brulee
WTA Vanilla Splash
also I'll probably get these from the same place. I can't find any VG that I think I might like on that site.
PG menthol
PG RY-4
PG Cappucino
But I'm going to the e-cig store tomorrow to get a real grip on things before I order anything.
I'm beginning to think that I might be better off just buying a carton of Kools. This has been a lot of work learning about these things.......and I still don't know squat. But it will be fine. I think I'm on the right track......what do you think.
I can blame you wa3zrm.......you just had to mention how freaking great the WTA P-38 menthol was didn't you. When I saw that comment on another thread I knew I had get some. Its all your fault.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

PP, You are really going to love WTA Dark Honey Tobacco It's a nice evening before bed vape and relaxing, But to me so is DK Tab... Very nice nutty tobaco flavor... I was never a menthol smoker so don't know about P-38...Miami Cream Brulee does sound good and might be on my next order... The Cinnamon Roll WTA is a good dessert juice, But that is all it is... My daughter told me tonight that it's all she had on her last night and almost puked... I kinda laughed as it reminds me of some dessert snus and not an all day vape, But I can tell ya that WTA Dark Honey Tobacco and the WTA DK Tab are defiantly all evening or all day vapes...
Edit: PP you are defiantly on the right track... Hell Man! My daughter did most of the research on finding out what was the best and reliable e-cig... This forum and the new e-cig sub forum confirmed it and I even turned her on to something better to go with her Ego-C VV twist battery.....

looks like the biggest problem I have now is finding everything in decent colors or in stock at one supplier. And having coupon codes NOT work. Dam. It seems like its been all day fooling with this.
Seriously tho....I would still be all mixed up if it weren't for you guys. thanks. I now see the advantages of your recommendations and the caution of knock offs.
Oh and I never liked any non-menthol ciggys. So I'm not into too many more normal tobacco flavors to try.....yetGrant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I'm happy to see I sparked a good conversation here!
First off, I was a hardcore kool smoker for 30+ years... and I can tell you now, e-cigs WOULD NOT get me off the analogs. Without a doubt, snus is the secret to that. It took me less than a week to transition form analogs to snus... IMO, that's amazing.
Right now I have a portion of General mint in... it delivers the "goods" as Faylool calls them much better than e-cigs. The e-cigs become a nice diversion because there are so many options... and flavors... and nasal snuff is important too. In fact, I think that nasal snuff beats both snus and e-cigs hands down for that quick nic rush. Only problem with it is that people look at you as if you are some sort of coke head when you do it.
Like you PP, I have many friends that are in law enforcement... many times they have told me that if they saw anyone doing nasal snuff they would pull them over in a heart beat! At least there is some reference point for snus. Snus=Chew in their minds. Nasal snuff automatically triggers a coke response... after all, who in their right mind would be snorting tobacco... it's become arcane, coke has not.
You are right about having just two batteries and a bunch of carto's... I'm just lazy... I rotate the e-cigs like the snus... I'd be changing carto's every half hour and that gets real old real fast. But like snus, you'll find yourself reaching for a circle of ejuices just like you do with portions. One important thing that has not been mentioned here is the nic content of e-juice. When I started I only use zero nic juices; and at the very most, 6 or 8 mg. Over time I've discovered the quantity of nic you need depends on the flavor. Some ejuices go very well with zero nic... others need only a few mg's... while still others need 18 to 24 mg. You need to find that sweet spot that satisfies you... I think that's half the fun of vaping. But be aware... higher nic in e-cig juices is just like strong portions of snus... with our medical issues high power nic is not a good thing.
Finally, one thing you will learn that there are a ton of ejuice vendors out there. Each has one or two special juices that are specific to them... their signature juices. Focus on those... and some of their formulas are very difficult to decode. I wish to God I could make my own Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice. It would save me a ton of money.
In the final analysis, you may find e-cigs a nice option just like nasal snuff... but there is far more to experiment with than snus... and that's what will turn you hardcore... JMO.If you have any problems with my posts or signature

Waz it seems almost certain that snus is handily providing us with whatever elusive benefits that might accrue to WTA infusions. I've had several weeks now to gauge the effects of the Aroma line compared to several others and I'm fairly sure now that the main reason I like them is that they are clearly high quality and very satisfying to vape products, period. The WTA infusion may be a bit of gravy but is likely to be of less benefit to us than it would be to someone who only smoked and used no other form of tobacco.
Next time I order from Aroma I'm going to try a non-WTA version of something I already have just for comparison purposes. Should be easy to tell if adding the WTA infusion is an important flavor component of what makes Aroma's stuff so nice to use.
For me a goodly part of the attraction of vaping is that, for now, equipment and juices are hugely easier to obtain than snus. In about two and a half months I've ordered vaping materials five times and the total shipping costs have only been about half of what is required with a single order of snus.
Another factor is that it could well be that snusers will in general be less likely to engage in the near frantic hunt for vaping perfection that characterizes a big proportion of folks for whom smoking was their only form of tabacco usage. Snusing vapers are a tiny minority in the vastly larger overall vaping world but I'm becoming convinced that they are truly a privileged minority.

We certainly made a decent thread for the next member that is interested in e-cigs. I learned so much and have a basic comprehension now. My order for Aroma is going to cost me some $ and surely I won't like most of what I bought.....so I can see how juice tradeing will be an asset to everyone on the site...or at least themembers that are new to e-cigs.
but this thread isn't finished yet.
I may change the title to be a bit more specific to draw the newbies.
Thanks to all of you.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I re read my input and decided I can do better by posting links to graphics. Like those that come with how to put a fountain pen together and load right or something like that. All i can do is post links so when I come across a clear something or other pictorial on ecf I'll post here. If even this short note makes sense! Geeze. It'll just be a random thing and nothing to do with my personal opinion on any of it.
The search for the best e juice lead me to DIY pretty quickly and the initial investment is up there when you working in the dark Is this flavoring good? How much will I need? Do I even like vaping mint? Or just chewing gum with it or eating candy canes. me..i dont like vaping mint unless its very soft and light and I was a Kool smoker and just dont like menthols BUT that can change, taste is so very subjective and changes. I feel the best way to break in to DIY is buy what you know you like already in a flavoring that is most likely a single flavor. To save time and money and frustration Im going to, for the second time, recommend Vaping Zone Gourmet Super Concentrates. Its 3 pages and as far as reports have been going all the flavors are top notch. My search was for a great Mango. Vaping Zone Gourmet SC was my 4th pick. Yes its expensive.
but it mixes at 1%. Or I use up to 4% max. I like stronger flavor. My sinus' mess with my ability to taste well quite a lot. Ever tried Jelly Belly Jelly Beans? Are they good? Remember the economy brand? The flavorings you use makes the difference. Another great way is to simply add your flavoring to a pre made juice to fix it. Start out with a 3 ml days supply and ad a tiny drop. Whe you feel its a good time you can add a Diy thread.

just found the DIY thread
