I generally use gasoline for stubborn jobs. It'll clean anything.

I rinse the tanks out with water, dry them with a pipe cleaner, and replace the atomizer, letting the former one dry.

OK I think I've got the clearomizer cleaning down but noticed there is a bunch of gunk on my battery head thingy. Can I use a qtick and some hydrogen peroxide to clean this (Don't have any rubbing alcohol at the moment) I think this might be the reason I'm not getting as much vapor as before. Just to be clear I'm talking about cleaning the battery itself not the clearomizer as I wouldn't try hydrogen peroxide in that but on that topic what about the threads on the bottom of the clearos can those be cleaned with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide?
