France To Ban E-Cigs In Public.


"France is set to ban electronic cigarettes from public places and subject them to he same tight controls as tobacco, the government has announced.
The move has sparked outrage among sellers and users of the battery-powered devices which contain liquid nicotine that is turned into a vapor when inhaled."

Bad, of course. There's no reason for the ban. It's based purely on feelings, not science. Laws that are based on feelings are always bad. You might as well contact a shaman. and have him tell you how to run your country.

They do and they ignore the smoking ban, so it really doesn't matter at all as they will ignore it, Germans are the same, every bar we went into in Berlin and Cologne last year people were happily smoking away despite it being "banned", no-one cares over there, unlike here where we have no balls and just do what we are told.

Also I don't really care if they ban pretend smoking in public in France, as they will ignore it and still be rude to you!

Skell, did you see the new proposed UK regulations? If this happens wouldn't it virtually kill e-cigs in Britain? Are there many vapers in the UK?

Let me ask this.......if France ceased to exisit.......would any one outside of France know.....in the last 200 years what the hell has France done of any significance........they are the adult Disneyland and snack bar of the western world. Beyond that.....I see no purpose for France

Not a big supporter of most things French. Even after many years of the waste of time language in school. I can think of some things they have done. Memory serves they were the first country to do a virtual surgery. Surgeon in France using an internet controlled robot to operate on a patient here in the states. It was a few years ago if I remember right and it is a great idea as probably most of the ER nurses could not stand the French surgeons attitude smoking and body odor...

Oh and they were an excellent maxi pad for absorbing Nazi's....
