Looking to buy a vape/ecig for my uncle, need some recommendations.

    Hey mates,

I needed a suggestion for a decent vape/ecig to buy for my uncle on his birthday. He's been a smoker for 20+ years (2 packs a day). I tried to get him onto snus, and he likes it okay I guess, but he keeps going back for the occasional pack of smokes. He'd mentioned interest in a vape/ecig, but doesn't know enough about them to go for it.

If it helps, he's smoked Camel unfiltered, & Camel filtered cigarettes for as long as I can remember. So if you kind folks would know of a juice that tastes like Camel unfiltered/filtered and still gives that throat hit, I'd love to hear about it. Also, I have no idea what kind of vape/ecig to get him, but I'm hoping to find something decent for around $100.

    Cheers folks,

I always recommend eRoll. I don't know about tobacco flavors

For a tobacco flavor that's a bit like Camel, I'd suggest an RY4. It has that sweet taste reminiscent of a Camel. Not sure how they taste brand to brand, but I know several vendors make RY4. I've only tried the Volcano brand of RY4 so far.

For a kick ass and take names he-man tobacco flavor I recommend G.I. Joe WTA from Aroma. Expensive stuff but everyone around here is guay for Aroma products, including me. And you don't have to spend anywhere near a hundred bucks to get an excellent beginner rig. Root around the web for "Ego" style units that are the standard of smallish batteries, and one or two "clearomizer" tank rigs. Shouldn't run more than 30-40 bucks tops. Check out this page from My Vapor Store which is a rock solid vendor:

I've found that the best tobacco flavors are made by Don at Backwoods Brew. My favorites are Casablanca and 555 Exotic. Those two have some really nice flavorings mixed in. There are also some straight up tobaccos like Adirondack, Virginia, and Backo, which are also exceptional.

My device of choice is a Reo. I believe these are the best vaping machines on the market. They are simple to use, look good, and make sense for older folks that don't want to putz around with tanks and whatnot. Just fill the bottle and go. I've got two of them and will probably get a third and fourth.
