I'm currently on vacation near St. Petersburg, FL. I went to a local mall. I have never seen so many vapers in my life. People in that mall were vaping everywhere. It was a real pleasant eye opener for me. Where I'm from in Wisconsin, very few people vape, even less snus.

I live in a small town. People all know about vaping but I have yet to see a single person vaping here since the day I met the guy who showed me what it was about a year ago -
It's same in Warsaw.
Number of vapers is proportional to number of smokers and governmental taxes on tobacco products.
In Poland in this year expected tax income from tobacco products is 17% lower than last year,
and smokers were here about 30% of population. You just can guess that over 5% of population is vaping now.
I believe that in cities both in Russia and Poland the numbers are even bigger.
Of course there are vapers who smoke, and those who didn't smoke earlier, but this shows general rule.
Edit: I meant, that in Warsaw is same as in Petersburg

Yeah, same in Sweden. People get really fascinated when I smoke my Lavatube. They have never seen one before, and I haven't seen anyone smoke an electronic cigarette here. I hope it will change!Comment

Vaping is becoming massive around here now. Lots of little stalls selling, new vape shops opening and vaping is become really common. I was in work today and nearly everyone that used to smoke now vapes, its great to see really! Its common to see people in cafes having a coffee and a vape. I vape quite a lot now, mainly due to the fact that its so easy to get hold of in comparison to snus (though I still snus, cant get enough of Odens!) In fact, most of my local vape shops work out cheaper than online
Theres a lot of hoo haa about it now though, government and what not. I think they're just looking for a way to tax it since there will be less people smoking and using big pharma remedies like chewing gum and lozenges
