    Wham B.A.M.

Although this massive chunk of hardware is not cheap, $120, it just might fit in the Vaping On A Budget category on a dollars per ounce basis. It's a B.A.M., short for Big Ass Mod, and ne'er was there a more apt description. It may well be the heaviest commercially available mod out there. It uses a huge honkin' 26650 battery which, if I vaped nothing else, should easily last me a week if not more. A very handsome unit it is too, nicely anodized red on mine, with a high level of build quality apparent. It can be used in a wide variety of configurations, three different size batteries with and without a Kick, sufficient to almost anyone's needs. I'm using it as a straight 3.7V unregulated device with a 26650 and just letting 'er rip on a 1.5 ohm RDA.

The BAM does not strictly qualify as a mech since it has a wired switch with an integral fuse but it should be able to drive sub-ohm coils without any problems. This is the one to have if you need to vape for an age and also be able to break someone's jaw for their impertinence. Nobody needs a device like this but it's way up there in the want category for sure and as over the top as it may be it is far less than the bill for a Provari.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

The battery this puppy takes, a 26650, is amazing. I put in a fully charged batt. and vaped it intermittently for nearly two weeks with a 1.5 ohm RDA. Put the battery back on the charger and it read 3.9 volts. Probably take me a month to get a battery below 3.7 volts. It's a combination ultra-vape machine and skull cracker. What it isn't is particularly portable.

What it also isn't is very available. Exactly one place, VaporCast, carries it and they only have it sporadically. Out of a number of color choices they only have it in red at the moment.

it would make a great boat anchor as well

or a great battery for a trolling motor.

Confirming data. Fully charged 26650 vaped in a three device rotation for two full weeks. Battery reads 3.8 volts. In two weeks it has yet to have been drawn down to the nominal battery voltage of 3.7 volts. Using it solely at my moderate vaping pace it should last a full week, minimum, possibly two before the batt. drains enough to become unusable.

I will add that the manufacturing quality is top notch. Excellent machining, buttery threads, smooth anodized finish, and very solid 510 connector mounting. Surprisingly even though it weighs at least half a pound and is an inch and a quarter in diameter it sits very snugly and comfortably in the hand. All in all it is truly the main battle tank of personal vaporizers and makes overwrought oddities such as the gatling gun 134 look like mere pretenders.
