So here is a question, my wife has started smoking occasionally again. She quit when she got pregnant, but has been having a cig every few days or when she is having a glass of wine or something. For someone who is not smoking regularly, but is just looking for a quick nic hit to calm the nerves every once in a while, would an e-cig be worth it? I don't really like the fact that she started again, even if it isn't regularly, and she refuses to try snus. Just looking for maybe another alternative.
A tip.. when your wife is asleep carefully place a big ole pris of Ettan los under her lip. Put on soothing music for example Abba's Dancing queen or perhaps NWA's Straight out of Compton on repeat. In the morning she will have a new and excited view of snus. Don't be surprised if she asks you for the pink icetool

Hold some nasal snuff right below nose while your at it and make sure she doesn't inhale it too deeply.
never used one... but definitely not healthier....
I've read quite a bit on this subject and they're not even as successful as snus ....
Nicotine patches and gum are far more effective... since ecigs can develop another long-term habit which isn't something a smoker would want anyways.

Huh, I think most people try to switch to e-cigs and keep using them. As an interesting side note 35 percent of people quitting smoking and then quitting snus were successful and that was with camel. I think it was another study the 1 year off smoking rate with snus is like 60 percent, it's like the only form of quitting where the success goes up the longer you use it.

Nicorette. It is far better than ecigs for that purpose as it will last longer, and its a 'medicine' so you know what your getting. I keep some around for various occasions, sometimes just for the hell of it. I like the fruitchill and the target brand mint, uncoated.
I actually use my e-cig a lot. It really helped knock out that last little bit of smoking I did on the side when I used snuff and snus. I guess it was the physical action aspect of smoking that had a hold on me, the hand to mouth thing. Either way it was the final piece of the puzzle for me to completely be rid of regular cigarettes.

Thanks again for all the responses to my question.
Now I have another one.
I know this will be a opinion and mileage may vary type thing. I have decided to get one, with all the many available on line. I have no idea which I should get.
Any suggestions?

Sorry Rattlesnake never used one...
Ive been considering buying a vaporizer for use with herbs, however i will also try vaping tobacco in it.
I like the idea of doing this better then burning some kind of engineered liquid.
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but i have read of a few threads on e-cig users suffering from eye complaints possibly being a result of using these vaporisers... this is partly what put me off them that and the fact that the setup i tried didn't give me enough of a buzz that i enjoyed...
i know alot of folks is AUS and EU mix tobacco with there herbs, so im sure this will work. My expierence with the Extreame Q vaporizer (Canadian manufacturer) was very good.
I used to have a vaporizer, though I never tried to use tobacco with it, but that was back in my high school days. I dont use that stuff anymore.
@rattlesnake- I have a revolver infinity ion that i used to like alot. Was pretty consistent for a while, but I ended up flooding the atty out and it started acting up, havent used it much since then. Just dont go with the blucigs, they suck.
