They must have a hell of a domain renewal bill every year :P

Not when they buy in bulk!! The prices can really get cheap.

That is a bummer! Discreet introduced me to Rootbeer snus, a flavor I have since tried to copy using my Snus X portion kit...unsuccessfully. I hope Tom ended business on a somewhat positive note, he was extremely generous with samples and one-on-one contact with customers.

He was a really nice guy. His snus was better than the American Camel but it was still bleh. Like the above poster said, sweet. I didn't dig the dryness either.

Yah, the taste wasn't even really bad, and I didn't even really mind the sweetness, but it was little more than a pouch of dirt as far as nicotine content is concerned.

I still have multiple packs that he sent me of every flavor he ever put out. Even the ones that never got released.

I doubt I'll ever use them.

I only had one discrete portion ever from a package in a box pass. It wasn't for me due to the sweetness. I did like the bag though. I don't recall the nic level as it was a while ago but at any rate it didn't impress me. Maybe if I had tried it before Swedish snus I would have liked it 'cos as others have said it's better than Camel or that Marlboro stuff. I agree that the American customer needs a nicotine punch to the face. We like everything else in excess which is why I think that all US brands are overly sweet.

Thats totally me right there. It's getting to where its all sterk, all the time. I just love that "punch to the face" as you said. Thunder, Nick & Johnny, Jak's, Onyx, Claq(r.i.p.), I cant get enough!

It doesn't suprise me. And I tend to agree with him, considering his product, which seems to have been markted towards women, and lonely truck drivers.

I did like how Tom would come here and post, and his free samples were very generous. And I think all of us here at the time, was very interested in his plans/efforts to make a full sized Swede style snus.

I think had he done this, he may have had a more viable product, maybe.

I still have some of the orange flavored ones, in the silver bag.

                      Sad to see this happen.

Does anyone know if Discreet is still making snus? Yesterday I bought a pack of Strawberry from a tobacco shop. The portions were still soft. The stuff tastes like candy. I kinda like it.

It doesn't sound like it (from your quote above) and I certainly have not heard anything about them in a while

You should email the company. I don't know which smokeless company made them exactly, but I heard they stopped. Now, I also have seen it at various places. I know that there are others that really like certain flavors and I can't see Northerner still having some since Discreet supposedly stopped production.
