Canadian Bill Introduced to ban flavored smokeless Tabacco

Just came across this, looks like it was introduced may 9th. An amendment to the bill that stopped the sale of flavored cigars in 2009 and now it looks like they want to ban flavored smokeless tabacco.

Not sure if this will effect imports or not, sure as hell hope not! Im just starting to Snus!

    An excerpt

Media outlets reported in August 2010 that flavoured cigarillos were still being sold in Canada, because the definitions in C-32 did not apply to larger cigarillos that do not have filters. Leslie’s PMB closes that loop hole and extends the ban to flavoured smokeless tobacco products, something that government officials told the Standing Committee on Health in June 2009 would be done by June 2010.

This website and legislation looks amazingly similar to the stuff The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids puts out here. I am not sure who funds them but they seem to have a lot of money and lobbying power.

Apparently the previous ban on flavored cigars included a ban on importing flavored cigars as well. So I am assuming this is their intent with smokeless tobacco as well. I suppose I could figure out how to flavor my own though.
