Kind of rough on the gums, I agree but I just really like grov loose. Also, I think grov is the ONLY snus in which the portions taste like the loose. 250 grams of GROV....sweet

One of the reasons I don't care for Grov, though, is that it really tears up my gums. I wonder if the cut of Kardus would alleviate that??
Kardus Superior Blend which is themed and comes out once a year is long cut.

Grov or Ettan Kardus are ground, much like regular snus. The name Kardus simply means letter tobacco, as it is packaged like a letter.

This is much lime regular Grov, but VERY fresh.

I picked up mine from BuySnus. Northerner is only shipping there's to other countries, not US. So if you're in USA, SnusCentral or BuySnus are your only options.

Can someone please explain this to me? I just don't get it. While it may be very fresh snus the cost of 250g (actually 295g as it seems to come with a can) of product costs more than 450g of the same snus coming in the traditional roll. The box is kind of cool in an old school kind of way but not worth it to me economically. What am I missing here?

          Nostalgia.
It's snus done the old fashioned way.
Hand packaged in a letter form at the tobacco museum in Sweden.

Hmm, if times weren't so tight maybe this would appeal to me more.

I was totally on the fence with buying this when considering the cost. However, after seeing Chad's YouTube video it sold me.

His video showcased 2 things that appealed to me. The fact that it actually showed when it was produced (late July I believe), and also when he showed the tobaccy juice on the can lid after packing it with the Icetool.

I normally find Swedish Match loose offerings to be too dry for my liking. I know some people feel the cardboard cans SM uses have no impact, but IMO it does and who knows how long it sits on the shelf before its shipped. I've received cans in the past that are near the best before date and it has reflected in the amount of moisture.

So to see a SM product that is absolutely at its peak of freshness sealed the deal.

I do however understand issues people might have with the pricepoint/amount that you get. But wow, it looked fresh. Even the cardboard box the Kardus comes in had moisture seeping into it.
