This is Armin from SwedishSnus.com (we have now moved to mysnus.com actually).
The reason why I am contacting you is: Today I posted in this forum that we are running a campaign with free shipping to the US, until the 7th of November. Some criteria must be fulfilled, see our website and news section. Still, I think it's a great deal for many customer.
Quickly after I posted this, my post was deleted. This happened before. Probably some of you have not realized this already, but this forum is a purely Northerner-controlled forum. It's a SHAME that even posts which may lead to savings for the one or the other user are deleted.
I just wanted to raise your awareness for what's going on here. If you wanna spread the news on our current deal to the US, I wouldn't mind either of course. But that was not the primary reason for this message. It was more my anger about a forum that claims to be "neutral", but then in the end... deletes everything that does not benefit one certain Player, that is Frank Svandal. A shame.

Some of you may have gotten this PM (as I did) and I wanted to let you in on the details of what has happened.

As you know we mods try to keep the forum pretty clear of spam. Many of you like Snusgetter and others have done yeoman’s work helping us keep the forum clear of spam.

However, when we saw the original ad for Swedishsnus.com we thought it might be a legitimate venture and one that you all would be interested in. Unfortunately, none of us had heard of the operation and therefore could not confirm its legitimacy. Therefore, we moved the post (it was not deleted) to the mod section until we could verify the legitimacy. In the meantime a Pm was sent to the original poster explaining to him/her the action that had been taken.

I came back from a long meeting today to find the above post in my email…………and to say the least I was pissed.

It is my personal commitment to the members of this forum to insure that snuson is a place that you can get a beat on the whole world of snus. If there is a deal or something that will help you get snus….I want you to know it. But I will not use this forum to let con artists or credit card scammers promote their con with our seal of approval. We will know what company is behind a posted ad and we will be satisfied that they are a legitimate business before we let them use this forum to solicit sales.

If Armin does not understand this simple policy and will not give us 2 hours to run down his company in order to insure the safety for our members……………..then he has gravely underestimated the vision of this forum.

Amrin is ban……. AND BAN FOR LIFE…………..I recommend that our members go to the other venders that are running the same promo (this is a Swedish Match incentive not a store’s promo) ………………. I know Buysnus is running it ………..and it is my guess is that Northerner and Snuscentral will be offering the same…………if they are not already……………..buy from one of them.

And yes I am pissed…………………if we are trying to make sure an advertiser is OK so we can give your company free run on an international stage…………….and then you pull shit like this………..then I have no problem using that very international stage to suggest that none of our members buy a single can from your company……..
Snuson give your business to the gentlemen of the industry………………….who by the way are running the same deal

One day later, my account was not only completely delelted, but a Mod commented on this issues: He wrote that he "put my post on hold for further review", that they just wanted to "verify if it is a legitimate shop" because "nobody ever heard of SwedishSnus.com". It's a plain lie. Maybe you get yourself, that this statement is completely contradictory to them telling me before that my post was deleted simply because it was advertising something. And now they put it as if they just wanted the best for the users. I can also say with some certainty that everybody at the Northerner knows about our shop and existence. Ridiculous, really a shame.

I wanted to bring forward a part of the quote that Kevin linked to and respond.

My confusion was between Swedish-snus.com and Swedishsnus.com. Since my Pact stash is going strong I do not visit a lot of peripheral sites as much as I did a year or so ago………and even then I am not sure I had ever been to Swedishsnus.com

The point is there was a general confusion over who this site is and who is behind it.
But just to clear the air…….because I so love being called a liar…….and being told that I want to screw over my friends on this site………..I am going to do something very rare….I’m going to post the discussion we had in the mod section over this issue play by play….I have taken out the other mods name’s from their quotes because this is my response…….. they can chime in when and where they want to

It was only then that Armin's post was deleted.....that he was ban......and that I started this thread to let you know why.

What I report to the members of this forum may not always be to their liking....but it is ALWAYS true.....and it is NEVER to screw or deceive them
