Thank you. I wish General would realize this. Bergamont is an acquired taste - I loathed General the first time I tried it. Contrast this with Ettan, which tastes exactly like pipes and cigars... full of tobacco-ey goodness. With the General push into the US, SM will at best capture the market segment that likes flavored dip. Those who like real tobacco will stay with chew and dip.

FWIW Oden's is diversifying into some regular portion tobacco flavors. And, their flavored snuses taste predominantly like tobacco, with a hint of flavor, unlike General, which tastes predominantly like flavor, with a hint of tobacco. I think Oden's could have great success here. I wish I could join the Oden's team!!

General original isn't bad for us snusers....I've got a portion in as I type.... but I really think it will not be all that popular here. I'd almost bet that out of the General that is sold in the U.S. at least 80% of it is Mint and Wintergreen.

Copenhagen is the most popular smokeless brand in the U.S. for a reason. It's the oldest smokeless brand in the nation, and it has a flavor that smokeless users find to be tried and true. Match could launch Ettan, or Grov, or both in the U.S. and watch the money roll in while US Smokeless shits its pants. I don't get it.
