Ok, I'll sign up for the General's Club, even though General isn't my favorite, and the Speedway stations around here don't even carry loose anymore.

I just wish they'd quit fixating on General and release Ettan across the States.

Yah for real, they keep wanting general on every shelf but i'd take some ettan any day of the week. General is too bland for me, even though I know in sweden it's the most popular or whatever, but I don't think that popularity will transfer over to the US. Different strokes for different folks.

Copenhagen is the most popular smokeless brand in the U.S. for a reason. It's the oldest smokeless brand in the nation, and it has a flavor that smokeless users find to be tried and true. Match could launch Ettan, or Grov, or both in the U.S. and watch the money roll in while US Smokeless shits its pants. I don't get it.

I had a chat with the smoke shop owner here in Louisville (one of the only shops that sells real snus), and he told me that people come in and buy General Mint/Wintergreen by the roll. He said original/white portion sells as well, but not nearly as good as the mint/wintergreen. So yeah, you are right about that.

Ettan would sell like a beast if they could convince dippers to make the switch. The only difficulty they'd face is the brand recognition that Copenhagen carries. I tried to get my cousin to switch from his Cope snuff over to snus, his only response was "I like my Cope". I'll have to toss a can of Ettan at him and see if he would be willing to give it a try.

The General's Club is sweet. I have gotten the bottle opener, which could double as a serious weapon, and the mini-speaker, both for free. A General snus blog contest I won also hooked me up with tickets to see The Book of Mormon. Even though Ettan and General makes up most up my snus consumption, General has given me more $$$ than I have given them.
