    Stonewalls and Ariva no more

    http://www.sfgate.com/business/artic...ts-4124879.php

Star Scientific will stop making dissolvables. Looks like sales weren't good enough to make it worth while.

I think dissolvables are a pretty cool thing, but theirs sucked. I bought some Ariva a while back, java flavored. It was disgusting. And no nicotine that I could feel. Meh.

sh*t...a good friend of mine uses those (can't convince to switch to snus). The local grocery store that used to carry them doesn't have any more. And I just bought out what Northerner had left (Wintergreen) because of that. Anyone know of another place online that sells them so I can be proactive and try to help him stock up?

The Glen Allen, Va.-based company, which used to focus primarily on research of a tobacco curing process that would prevent the formation of carcinogenic toxins in tobacco, said its board voted unanimously to discontinue the Ariva and Stonewall products. It had sold varieties of tobacco lozenges that dissolve in the user's mouth since 2001.

The research alone was a valuable asset that now disappears "like " most tobacco info....no good for us at all.

Tried them but they currently don't have things set up with my state for shipment (NC). Anyone know of anywhere else that sells them? The internet seems very thin, Smoke-Spirits has them but they feel a bit shady. I'd also be willing to pay someone to get them for me...
