This issue features an article about the incredible calypsonian singer Lord Invader and Rob did this painting a couple of years ago. It took us that long to write the article, since it was nigh impossible getting hold of some of the subjects we interviewed. But it was breathtaking, to say the least. Here's the actual painting entitled My Intentions Are War:

It's incredible to me that aside from the musical accompaniment, My Intention is War is essentially the same as an early 80's Rap Battle, just 40 years ahead of its time.






Magazine Update:


The warehouse has been slow to distribute this issue. (What else is new?) All customer orders filed through our website (including subscription copies) have already been shipped. The retail orders are still trickling down, but should be in most stores already.

I have no idea when Amazon will be stocking this issue. We'd appreciate it if you could contact them directly with your questions and concerns, as we really have nothing to do with that branch of our distribution. Remember, it's still cheaper to order through our website, unless you're trying to take advantage of Amazon's $25 minimum Super Saver deal.

But if you're only in the market for one to four copies of our magazines, you're better off ordering from us. (This doesn't apply to foreign orders. It may be cheaper to order from Amazon if you're, say, in France or England. Asian orders are still cheaper through our website.)

Sorry there's no half naked models this issue, but we're trying a "return to form" roots approach with this issue to see if we can still bring in new readers without flashy gimmickry like sexy ladies. (We'll still include as much sexy ladies as page count permits, but the emphasis on lust will be toned down a wee bit.)
