Contact Swedish match for retail Onyx sales

Went to generalsnus.com and asked through contact us if and when general onyx would be sold in the US. I was told they had not really considered it yet due to market saturation but if enough consumers contact them then they would highly consider adding it to US sales. So lets email them and get the numbers up so hopefully sometime in the near future we can purchase onyx locally.

Onyx can't be sold in the US due to the FDA having an issue with the dye in the black pouches.

The people you emailed (the US reps) don't know much about Swedish products so they assumed it was something similar to other General Snus products probably.

Until the FDA okays it, you won't see Onyx in the US, sadly.

While we're compiling a wish list, why not rebrand Captain Yankee and wean the US off of straight dip?

My understanding was that all non General brands were a absolute NO!. Sadly the specific brand that raised the issue was Ettan.

Under their current market approach it will be just the General line

Why would ettan not be allowed in the us? And what's wrong with the other brands? Not jumping through enough red tape to satisfy the FDA?

They just don't want to market the brands here. Ettan, as well as most of their line is cleared, but they don't want to sell them to the USA atm.

The Ettan trials weren't successful enough to warrant continuing to sell in the US. Right now the focus is on the coffin tin General (Classic & Nordic) and round can (Mint, Wintergreen, White, and Loose). I don't forsee that changing anytime soon.

They should have conducted the Ettan trial near me! The coffin cans are a rip. 1/2 the portions for a slightly lower price.
