New General Tins in 2014

Just bought a can from my local store. The owner is awesome and because sales picked up he has stocked up on more real Snus.

He was showing me some new beers he got in and said, " You know General is releasing new metal tins next year? "

Anyone got anymore info? He said these new tins will hit the American market in 2014. God I hope they don't cut back on portions .

I saw a new coffin can design with a foil seal somewhere here. But yeah I'm gonna be ultra pissed if they cut back from 24 to 15 portions.

It should be just for the coffin cans. The round cans are a new design that hasn't even been on the market for 6 months.

I am wondering if they are adding the fresh foil seal and getting rid of the refrigerator displays. That has to be an expensive way to advertise.

Sales seem to be damn good in my area. Every time I go to my local gas station, they don't have enough wp for me. I typically buy 5 cans per week, and end up with around half mint or regular portion.

Refrigerator displays aren't going anywhere, it's a point of pride for Swedish Match to keep all General Snus refrigerated.

Round Can General is still a focus in the US - White, Original, Wintergreen, Mint & Loose. If your store doesn't have it, ask them to order some.

Your luck will be better with indie shops. If they have access to a General distributor, it's trivial for them to order for you. Get at least a roll at a time to make it worth their while, and they should be able to do it. Corporate stores will be less likely to work with you due to bureaucracy, but it never hurts to ask.
