It never hurts to ask. With the market opening up, however, I would look to see if you have a store close to you that sells it, first. If not, I'd definitely suggest it to them to add your city/region to the market.

They're are a ton of stores in my area that have General but none have the loose. Unfortunately 2 years ago when I just started snus, I wasn't ready for the Los haha. That probably discouraged them from keeping it in stock. At the time only 1 store had it.

What area are you located in, and what store would you like to see the loose in? (Make sure it's a store that sells round can General). I'll pass it off and see what I can do.

I think the new tins are a play off of RJR's tins....how innovative, lol. Although they are far more stylish :-)

I wish it was selling that well in my area. Some of the stores have stopped selling due to lack of demand. Others regularly send part of their stock back because it is out of date.

That might be because we have too many stores selling General. The General locator page shows 41 locations in a 10 mile radius.

Rick, I think the new Camel cans are great. The rubber seal keeps the snus fresh and moist far better than any can I've seen. Plus, the size fits my pants pocket much better than the standard 24 count round can.

Everytime I leave the house, I carry a Camel can full of Odens and SM.

Camel has new tins? I might have to suffer through a tin of Camel if it's useful.

A rubber seal kind of piques my interest. I like real tin tins, but the old Camel tins were all looks; not especially useful due to air transfer. If they have something that seals tight, I might get one to put other snus in. I like the way painted tin ages in the pocket.

I live in Knoxville. SM might have less disappointment if they sold only in tobacco stores, rather than convenience stores, to start with. Around here, Swedish snus is still a niche product rather than a mainstream product. Although when snus catches on in the future, the snus market in America might be huge.

I have tried to get general loose from the local stores but all they carry are the mints and white portions, I buy a few white portions for emergency use when the thunder or odens runs low. I would stock up on general loose if I found it locally.

I'm the same way. I've got to go with sterks when it comes to portions. I never buy anything locally anymore but if I could get General Los I would buy a ton.

I'm not a big fan of general to begin with and I snagged i think 3 rolls of extra strong long during the 50% off sale so unfortunately I can't support my local area businesses that carry it.
