Calif bill AB1500 would ban shipment of tobacco and ecigs to individuals

    http://blog.casaa.org/2014/03/call-t...ia-ban-on.html

I, personally, want to make the argument that ecigs should not be included. I leave it to you folks to make the same argument wrt snus. Tell 'em combustible only!!!

(they want the taxes, both current and hoped-for future taxes on anything 'nic')

It's too bad our representatives don't really give a crap about how we feel. This will fly through the legislature.

At some point someone is going to challenge the constitutionality of such laws. How can you ban an individual from acquiring a legal substance..........if you want to tax it....then tax it.........but to deny one what is legal ipso facto......is illegal
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Didn't we think the same thing about the PACT Act? That it interfered with interstate commerce as well as Native American sovereignty?

I agree with you. I’m afraid the situation looks rather bleak.

Yes and other states will soon follow. I am fortunate though in that General seems to be in about every gas station. I have even see a few places have it on sale for 2.99 a can. Too be honest, I rarely place orders anymore unless there is some huge discount or free shipping involved. I refuse to pay $35.00 for shipping.

Shouldn't there be some big shot lawyer eager to get his hands onto a subject like this?
