Don't, it's like chewing nicotine gum, in the whole time I have used snus the only time I have ever craved a cigarette was after using one of those. Flavour is ok but it's the same as chewing a piece of gum, stick to snus if I were you.

Thanks for the reviews. I enjoy using Northerner snus from time to time and I am thinking it is similar.

No, the northerner stuff isn't too bad and are just white dry portions that contain actual tobacco (I like the boost myself) but the DOS, white bite, Stockholm ice etc, are horrible!

Thanks for the warning Skell. I will wait for them to run a sale on Northerner before I order. I might throw in a can of Dos just to try. I am curious about it now. Running out is not an issue as General Original is everywhere now. As a bonus, they are currently selling General for 2.99 a can and they put 1.50 off coupons in the lid.

Of all things....I remember trying the Offroad Eucalyptus.....I remember it not being all that bad.......I also remember thinking that if someone liked mint snus they would probably like this as well.........I would not simply dismiss it.......but I also would not put the deed to the farm on it
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

I wonder what manufacturers actually make Northerner's products for them. Anyone know?

GN sells DOS on his site so they may make that, the rest I have no idea except it's made in Sweden.

I've had the Northerner Boost - and it's definitely not got tobacco in it unless they've changed the recipe in the past year or so. As far as I can tell it's just the same as the DOS but with a different taste.

                    The ingredients list tobacco iirc.

Hmmm. Well I think they're identical with a different branding. The DOS website (www.bionicotine.se) says that tobacco is an ingredient in theirs too.

I'm definitely intrigued by the caramel-vanilla - if they keep the saltiness noticeable, they would have an intriguing salted caramel thing going. I must admit that I have been enjoying flavored snus much more than my snobby ass thought it would. I will probably give the melon a whirl, too.

Well look at this (from the site) - " DOS can be bought by consumers from: www northerner.com
Sold in selective outlets in Sweden. Bionicotine is seeking collaboration, partners or distributors.
Contact Frank Svandal email: f.svandal@northerner.com "

I guess Northerner makes this product or at least has some sort of partnership arrangement.

I didn't spot that - well pointed out trebli! So Frank (northerner) is the main contact at DOS! Presumably Northerner bought out the old Oomph, formerly Wise company and inherited it's funny oval cans for it's own branded products.

I actually like the Northerner stuff, and find that their 6mg nic has a substantial nicotine hit, and I especially like the Stockholm Ice. I'd try it for certain

It's medical grade nicotine though Rick ... so it will only ever satisfy on a level with nicotine gum or patches - no matter how quickly it's released.

I have to confess that the only time I ever really used it was if I was reading in bed and thought I might fall asleep with one in. The beauty of a purified portion is no brown stains on your pillow!

Out of interest - do you still have any professional concern in the Northerner company Rick?
