So they want to stick gruesome images on cigarette packs..? Why not pictures of starving children on McDonald's packaging..? Why not tortured animals on cosmetics products..? Why not put the photos of the victims of drunken drivers, on beer and wine bottles..? Why not pictures of dishonest, thieving Politicians enjoying our money, on tax returns..?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

RJ, Ligget, and some other companies associated with Imperial Tobacco (?) are actually taking the government to court over the new labels as we speak. Can't remember the basis of the complaint on big tobacco's part, I just remember seeing they're trying to get out of the giant warning label thing.

They're saying the new laws violate their freedom of speech. I doubt they will win their case though.

Wait! Wait! Wait! You forgot... That according to the US Government Mandated warnings for all americans and of course our children that...

Swedish snus... Depending on the month, That this product can cause mouth cancer, Can Cause gum disease and tooth loss, is not a safe alternative to cigaretts, and smokless tobacco is addictive...

                      Really? I had no idea

If you are not an American, The above does not apply to you.

Can you imagine if you asked for snus at the store covered in all the stickers they have on snus shipped from the U.S? The people at the gas station already had enough trouble finding me a can of copenhagen longcut straight without the labels. They wanna put a sticker on the bottom? Fine. They wanna take up 1/4 the top with a warning? Fine. They want to cover my entire can with ugly warning stickers? Why I've known since I was 3 that cigaretts and such caused cancer. I knew the risks I knew what i was getting into. If your using tobacco and dont know the risks and reward factor associated with them then you are turly an idiot or someone who was sheltered and home school and never let out of the house and never got to watch t.v Shit even every kids show has an episode where someone starts smoking and they run you through the dangers and such.
