Fair enough, Darwin, I do abhor McDonald's but make the occasional exception for their frites when I'm on the Interstate. There is a McD's billboard near my apartment that claims the use of Washington potatoes, presumably for local outposts only. With their Brazilian beef/soy patties and Mexican tomatoes, I can now rest assured that my next combo meal is a multi-continental taste sensation with a touch of local flare. I'm driving 175 miles home tomorrow, I'll give it a shot.

Can you name what the dems have done for the middle class? They give out as much if not more corporate welfare than the republicans. You would have to be blind to think the deems care about the middle class

Did my post indicate i was pro democrat, Sgreger?.. all it said was Reps are for middle class elimination. They always have been, they are pro big biz, anti-union, etc.. I am all for a third party independent with some fresh ideas, and some balls to stand up against both current parties. Not these tea party rep backed idiots who couldn't come up with a beer fart in a windstorm.Don't confuse your sense of patriotism, with rep bs ideology, they don't give a crap about you, in uniform or out.

Sgregor, I have to agree with Curtisp on that one as it does seem like the Republicans are always attacking labor unions even while defending the wealthy. I already know that you are going to say that unions are corrupt and greedy but even so, though they usually are the defenders of the middle class. In California, the Republican legislature was insisting that billions in tax breaks be given to corporations while they were also complaining about union pensions. The Democrats are not saints by any means but as I said, they do less harm to the middle class. Voting Democrat is a reduced harm alternative like snus! It's not completely safe but if you have to vote it is 90-98% safer than voting for Republicans. LOL!
