    Why are pirates so cool?

    They just Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

Limewire was cool but I haven't used it in years. There are plenty others if I feel the need to get some music. I don't actually have a music library anymore though. Huh.

In my personal opinion, the Pirate Bay's days are numbered. They are on too many people's hitlist.

The next deadline is Nov 26th when a decision from the appeals court is set to be handed down.

You can follow the news on Pirate Bay here:

The Pirate Bay's days have come have gone many times. We are told no court order can shut it down.
I'm no expert on it. I guess that they keep putting up new trackers and stuff and that it can not be stopped
as long as people are out there seeding. Not sure? Can anyone elaborate?

I haven't used limewire in over 5 years. Way too much malware on those P2P networks. I do PC support(removing malware, networking, PC tuneups and such), and when I log into a badly infected machine, 99% of the time, they have Limewire, or Frostwire, or Bearshare installed.

Torrenting has become the focus of the film industry now. They have legions of employees checking torrents and taking down IP addresses. I got shut down like 5 times for torrenting videos. Now I use a proxy for my torrenting.

Really miss the days of Napster and Scour Exchange.

Didn't the Pirate Bay get bought out by some big media company?

That's why you should only use private trackers, they're not 100% safe, but it's better than using a public one.

Limewire was mostly bad files and porn towards the end anyway. There's better sites out there. I own around 400 CDs, and countless vinyl. I am not gonna go and put all of that on a computer, hence I will download it. I will download an album before it comes out to listen to it. If I like it, I will buy it. I prefer to have a physical copy of the album. The record companies have been far too greedy for far too long. It is there own fault for spiking the price of albums up so much. Tom Petty fought them many years ago about this, and warned them then. There are other ways to make profit from albums. Look at Radiohead - In Rainbows. They released it through the internet with a pay what you want. They made a huge profit. Same with Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor made over a million dollars off of an instrumental album, using the same method.

There are some fantastic private trackers, one that specializes in HD only, and another that is a very good 0/Day tracker. Another one I use is only for video games. On these private trackers it is a must you seed back at least what you downloaded, so it's not for everyone.

I'm a member on a private tracker out of the UK that specializes in UK only programs.

Ask them at the forum. It hasn't changed to me. I've been using it
for 3 years with no problem.

Hey! Have you all used Sandboxie?
                      http://www.sandboxie.com/

This son of a bitch has probably blocked
a lot of malware. I have surfed all over
high risk sites and I have not been infected
like I used to. I use the free version. It was
recommended to me by The Pirate Bay forum.

You can run a program sandboxed.

I run Firefox sandboxed. It has a setting to make
                      a sandboxed web browser.

Tired of dealing with rogue software, spyware and malware?
Spent too many hours removing unsolicited software?
Worried about clicking unfamiliar Web links?

                      Introducing Sandboxie
Sandboxie runs your programs in an isolated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer.

The red arrows indicate changes flowing from a running program into your computer. The box labeled Hard disk (no sandbox) shows changes by a program running normally. The box labeled Hard disk (with sandbox) shows changes by a program running under Sandboxie. The animation illustrates that Sandboxie is able to intercept the changes and isolate them within a sandbox, depicted as a yellow rectangle. It also illustrates that grouping the changes together makes it easy to delete all of them at once.
                      Benefits of the Isolated Sandbox
                      • Secure Web Browsing: Running your Web browser under the protection of Sandboxie means that all malicious software downloaded by the browser is trapped in the sandbox and can be discarded trivially.

                      • Enhanced Privacy: Browsing history, cookies, and cached temporary files collected while Web browsing stay in the sandbox and don't leak into Windows.

                      • Secure E-mail: Viruses and other malicious software that might be hiding in your email can't break out of the sandbox and can't infect your real system.

                      • Windows Stays Lean: Prevent wear-and-tear in Windows by installing software into an isolated sandbox.

Download Sandboxie now and give it a try!
