Just for Joe... KIETH OLBERMAN IS OUT BABY!

In response to your post Re: ZOMG, FOX NEWS IS DONATING TO REPUBLICANS WHARGARBARBL!!!

MSNBC suspends Olbermann “indefinitely without pay”

    Turns out that:

Keith Olbermann donating thousands of dollars to three Democrats in the midterms violates NBC's stated ethics code for its journalists. Oops

They are suspending him because it violates the network's quest to have great unbiased coverage. Lol @ that. They just want to someday have ratings above 0 so they need to find a way to get Olberman out.

So until Keith made these contributions--no one would suspect that he was biased?

Besides Maddow, are there any other liberal type hosts left on the news channels?

It's not the news, but there's always "The View" for the Jerry Springer / no job stay at home crowd I suppose.

Fox will rush to defend his ability to speak and spend freely I'm sure!

Rachel isn't half bad for a liberal, atleast she tries to stick to the facts. The ones I can't stand at MSNBC are Ed Shultz and Chris Matthews, I can't watch either one of them.

Olbermann gave $2500 to the Dems and Fix News gave the Repubs
                    $1,000,000.

The thing is, if someone who leans toward the conservative side of politics were to lose their job for something like this, I bet people would be getting in a line to scream about why it was a wrongful firing.

                            I am going to help you with your math. $2400 + $2400 + $2400 = $7200

He was suspended for breaking the rules of his contract. It doesn't look to good when you interview someone and the very same night you send him a $2400 donation. People might reach the conclusion that you are paying for your news. That's why MSNBC put those rules in place.

I don't watch him, but isn't he an analyst? If he was hired as a biased analyst, then why is NBC so strict about this? Oh well, rules is rules.
