And it's for reasons like this that I can't support any political agenda that deals with giving corporations more power. When you give corporations more power, they do shit like this. This is partially the government's fault for cooperating with the RIAA, MPAA, and similar groups for the various entertainment industries, but it's mostly the fault of the companies that are giving politicians the money to sway their votes and ignore the will of the people. Whether we have a dumbocrat or a republishit (or "tea party" that has already been compromised by the republishits) in office, they both listen to money and corporations before they listen to their people.
