Amazing that after all this time 300 people haven't signed up yet lol

Sort of reminds me of those infomercials, "Call within the next 10 minutes and get an extra one free! Be one of the first 100 and get 2 free!"

We shall see in a few weeks and if it ends up being a scam we can always blame lxskllr!

The difference is this is just my BS email address, and physical address. Not personal communications to people, the stuff I've bought online, and a listing of the websites I frequent.

That's alright - I have decided to make the Office Depot card your present if it is some kind of bogus coupon. It will be nice if it is real though because my son is in constant need of school supplies. He goes through pencils almost as fast as I go through snus!

            I don't think it's a scam ... it's advertised on Office Depot's home page.

Nevertheless, I don't like giving out personal info willy-nilly (or to willy nor nilly).

Hey, LX, we're just razzin' on ya! You do come up with some stuff we'd otherwise miss out on.

You're right, the OfficeDepot website takes you directly to the link lx provided. Cool, not a scam then.

Oh, I understand the skepticism, and reluctance to give information to some random site on the web. I'll go through kicks of signing up for free stuff, but I've bailed on some where I don't like the questions being asked. I've gotten some ok stuff signing up for things. Nothing earth shattering, but worth the minute it took to fill out a form :^)

I think you were the one that told us about that tobacco survey on mytobaccovillage. I think I got about $30.00 from that one. Too bad it ended.

That tobacco survey was kind of irritating. The same questions month after month, and some of the questions were just marketing speak BS. It was written by non tobacco users, and it showed. The information we gave was only relevant from a marketing perspective, and wasn't so involved with the actual product.

and has your opinion of that survey gotten better, stayed the same or gotten worse since your last visit?

If it's legit, maybe they lowballed the available number to generate a sense of urgency. They may have had 3,000 or more, but gave a low number so people would act right away.

I need a new office chair for my computer desk anyway, this will knock out more than half the price.
