If true, I have A LOT less respect for Assange. I can understand grandstanding, and trickling information to retain interest and exposure, but deleting information puts him in the same place as his targets....

Basically what it comes down to is very little of today's journalists are interested in doing investigative reporting. They want something that can be cut and pasted and they also want someone whom they can blame. Mass dumps of information don't work in the media, Wikileaks has to spoon feed stories to the media to get any coverage.

http://cryptome.org/ is an interesting site. They mirror Wikileaks documents but they also have articles critical of Wikileaks.

You have to remember the source of the leaks is SIPRNET. The Top Secret stuff didn't get leaked so I expect some of the information people are looking for wasn't there in the first place.

I've been telling you it was all rotten since I joined. I used to just be called a silly liberal, but now that it's all gathered in one place, you guys seem to be catching on to what I was saying before. Let it all burn, there's no point trying to save a tree which has a rotted core. As the saying goes, "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s." Caesar is simply getting his due with this. We live in what shall soon become the world's newest third world nation, and it will happen through the machinations and artifices of our political and economic elite, ever intent on tightening their stranglehold over all things which they feel could damage their goals.
