It was the black racists voters that voted for him based on his color, and it was the white liberal race-minded PC people who wanted him in based on his color. I don't think any of this needs a crazy in-depth breakdown of why people voted for Obama. He wasn't Bush, he was't republican, and that was the criteria for victory in 2008. Then compound that with the fact that he was running against a MCCAIN/PALIN TICKET FOR ****S SAKE, and you will see why he won.
