‘Twas the snus before Christmas
About a quarter past ten
All that needed doin’s been done
It’s the Eve’s silent end
So I sit by the window
With some whiskey and loose
A single-malt scotch
And the great one…Kardus
The kids are all tucked
Up tight in their beds
And everyone knows
What’s filling their heads
For now I’m content
The fire keeps me warm
I’m savoring the calm
Before tomorrow’s Christmas storm
I gaze out the window
At the stars in the sky
Perhaps…maybe, just maybe
I’ll see something fly by
As I press on my lip
I’m the luckiest in town
‘Cos my Santa came yesterday
He was all dressed in brown
He brought me a present
From the land of the Swede
And filled up my freezer
What more could I need?
I hold my wife in my arms
And gifts cover the floor
We just can’t wait for the children
To come through the door
Santa’s work is all done
And this one’s no rookie
I put away the carrots
But ate every single cookie
Now it’s time for some slumber
The fire has gone low
So I finish my glass
And up the staircase I go
As I settle into
My nice big, warm bed
I swear I hear bells
Jingling over my head
Maybe it’s the snus
Or the whiskey, some say
But I’m happy believing
It’s the big man’s sleigh
As I drift off to sleep
I know one thing is true
There’s a little bit of Santa
Inside each one of you
The morning will come
And I’ll grab my Claq Qui
And then there will be Christmas
Inside of me
But now I will rest
Everything is all right
Happy Christmas to all
And to all a good night.
Merry Christmas my SnusOn friends!
