I am thinking cold turkey, as every time I put a snus in I just want it more. I am goign to have 1 prilla all day, that is my goal today. Then tomorrow i'm going to cut it completely. I will keep a short log to track any changes I have each day.
Yeah that's a great idea... make a new thread to keep the progress up

I'm curios to see how addicted I am to snus..... I always think it would be pretty easy to quit ..... don't know why....

Also curios about the symptoms .......

i've read somewhere that the withdrawal from dip is very similar to the one from cigarettes....

Good luck to you man, but if the only reason is the money you're spending on snus and you don't have any real issues.... I think it will be pretty hard..... you'll always find some spare change in your pocket to buy snus.....

Well smokeless tobacco gives you much mroe nicotine than smoking, but it does ti in a way that is less instant and therefore less addictive. I think it will be pretty easy to quit compared to cigarettes.

And I have money, it's not that I couldn't afford it if I really wanted to, it's just that it's stretching it, and right now the wife and I are trying to save up for some other things which is what prompted me to take a look at my budget. Unfortunately snus was the only real thing I could cut out of my budget, so that's where i'm starting.

The good news is that if i'm successfull, it will serve as a study on what the effects of quitting are, and will also show you bitches that one can quit for money reasons alone! (unless I fail that is, lol)

I wish you luck. The plus side is there will probably never be a shortage of Thunder Frosted for everybody else now! I swear I think you single handedly paid for V2 to move into a bigger factory!

Oh he helped definitely and patrick needed to add to his stash he uses three cans of loose a day. Who was it who joined and said he did five cans of copenhagen lc a day (I don't know how that's even possible btw do you just throw in a full can and only go with half a can at a time while you're at work? I mean holy crap that's like enough to keep two small tobacco farms in business. I'm also comforted that Sgreger didn't die or have hypertension I still have doubts that consuming 60mg or in Patrick vogels case something like 300mg of a stimulant with a LD50 of 65 mg for an average person is great for your heart and circulatory system. Sgreger should have used Gotlands Yellow exclusively then it would still be in business. I can't criticize though for a long time I think I contributed to the existence of diet pepsi max when I was using 12-16 cans or 1-2 two liters a day.

Three cans of los per day? Even that disgusts me. I heard using 4 cans of los per week is considered "heavy" use in Sweden.

My Mrs. didn't like me using snuff but kind of came around in the end.
Oh yeah it does. I can attest to that. Off topic: have you guys seen the new Newport non-menthols? What a retarded idea.

Back on topic: good luck sgreger. Nobody is gonna be able to say anything to make this easy or simple, its kind of an individual experience. I know I couldn't do it, not even for a day.

My snus bill is roughly $22 a month and that's using two cans a week. I couldn't eat more snus than that if I wanted.

Greger, a can a day comes out to $150 monthly? Five bucks a day?

Precious, you're paing $10 per can?!?!?!

Hells fire, buying premium american snuff, I can get 10 cans of Copenhagen for $35. Look into buying in bulk from Buy Snus.com or just go to a local dicount tobacco store. If you bought Cope or Skoal by the roll you'd have a can a day for $105 monthly.

Yes, that's how much it is with all the taxes + shipping... (that's snus)

                          Dip is roughly $5 - $6 per can ... because I don't pay taxes....

I use about 3 cans a week. A roll of ten lasts me a month. Having just signed up to VIP recurring, my snus bill will drop from around £45 per month to around £17 per month.
