Much easier for me to carry my iPad with me everywhere to check mail, watch videos/hulu/netflix, read books, and play cheap games than it would be to lug a laptop.

That, and it's just plain cool. It's a little arcade cabinet! It's every 12 year old's dream, and in some ways, I'm still 12 :^)

Well that is true but as lxskllr said, it's just plain cool. A mini-arcade machine that can play any game right in your lap, awesome!
