I need something new to watch.

Since a few summers ago, I've been getting into serialized TV dramas. It seems that I've already watched all the good ones that I know of, I'm trying to find something new to watch.

I'm a huge Lost fanatic, it's pretty much my favorite show ever. I was big into Heroes as well. I love Dexter, I've watched it since the beginning. I got into Prison Break and watched all of it because it had such an involving TV show. Fringe is really the only one going now other than Dexter that is still active that I'm into.

I'm not into shows with vampires, I find that stuff hokey and cheesy. I don't like hospital shows, law shows, or cop shows. I think the only reason I got into Dexter was because it's so damn well written and has such an involving story even though he's a cop and in forensics.

I tried Bones but it just seemed random, like no moving storyline.

    Any suggestions?

Try the British "Silent Witness". I really like it, but I don't know if it's broadcasted in America. It's produced by the BBC. There's more crime investigation than drama, but it's still very good.

Does it have to be serial? If not, the Twilight Zone is the best show ever created. Every show since has tried to surpass it, and every show has failed :^)

Chad, we watch a lot of the same shows. Check out Rescue Me. It's the most twisted thing I've ever seen on TV. Bones is pretty good. The story takes a few seasons to start moving though. For comedy, check out Psych. But above all, watch Rescue Me. Really good show. I also recommend 24 as well. We're watching the final season of it now.

Sons of Anarchy is a good one...

And if you like Dexter, try the books... they are way darker and the story lines from the show and books aren't quiet the same.

Oz is phenomenal, so is the Wire

For comedies: the first few seasons of Trailer Park Boys are great, Arrested Development is good, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Reno 911, The Office, The Ali G show

Arrested Development was pure genius! Even though it had an "ending", I wish someone would pick it back up.

Agree 100% w/Hanske - Breaking Bad is phenomenal. AMC also has "The Walking Dead" - outstanding. There is also "The Wire", "Southland" - and a new Showtime series "Shameless" which is a riot.

whats wrong chad? are you getting tired of peeking in windows?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Yes, The Wire and Breaking Bad should be in your rotation Chad....... and in my mind you already watch/read The Walking Dead..

Shameless is an awesome show but I am referring to the Brit version, I can't bring myself to watch the American version... it would feel like I was cheating on my wife. LMAO

And PP... Windows almost never get boring! There is never a clip episode!

Depends on if you get tired of licking windows.
