A. Who the **** is Sarah Palin to expect reverence and respect in public discourse? She is a former half-term governor of the least governed state in the union, a professional twit and a reality TV star. What about her resume demands that she needs to be spoken about with any due consideration? I mean, you could certainly make the feminist argument, and I wouldn't say you were wrong, only that the extent to which the woman has packaged and sold her ditsy, 'hot for 40', politically militant personality makes taking her seriously damn near impossible.

Agree f.b. but what does make my skin crawl is that two years ago instead of Palin as V.P. we got Biden instead. Palin would be an improvement on that blithering twit but then again so would Peewee Herman. It's enough to make one nostalgic for Dan Quayle.
