Best of luck Gentlemanly. Which hospital are you at? Not that it matters but I'm curious. I've spent my fair share of time in Portland medical facilities. I hope they have you in a room with a window so you can at least be glad for this beautiful day. Sending positive thoughts your way buddy. Get well soon.
Lookin for some good vibes.....

Thanks for all the kind words guys, apparently I was slated to see a cancer specialist this morning, but they didn't deem it necessary at this point...so I hope that isn't bad news. My dad is sending a snus care package with my mom today, since all I got left is the expired Jaks Icefruit i stocked up on when Northerner was selling it at 60 cents a can. (hate the PACT Act)
EricHill...I was wondering who was going to take the bait and comment on that!!
Roo, I'm at Kaiser in Clackamas Oregon.

Thank you all for the kind words and support. I really appreciate and need it. The bone marrow biopsy was done yesterday and they sent me home to be in pain there. I meet with the oncologist (Cancer specialist) on Monday to discuss the results, on pins and needles till then. On a lighter note, my son, who will be a year old soon learned how to pick his nose, a great milestone in my book!!!
Still thinking about ordering some Coola, anybody got theirs delivered yet?

i know the pain sucks man, hang in there.. and as little as it may seem to help coming from somebody who had to watch someone very close to me go through something similar, the simple act of being home with people an familier surroundings does help. congrats on the nose mining with the little one, next thing ya know he'll be depositing it on your shirts while you sleep/ aren't looking lol. best of luck and my prayers are with you man.

Labs sent to VA for confirmation, and results returned today. Diagnosis of Acute Cytomegalo viral infection. It acts like a mononucleosis, only more severe. The disease itself is not uncommon, but my body's reaction to the virus is rare. Got possibly 2+ weeks more of the fevers/sweats before it runs its course. At which time the tissue damage/inflammation of my liver, spleen, and lymph nodes should start healing themselves. Ugh....it is good to finally have a culprit, even if it has to last for a while longer.
