    Ugh snow.

I don't know who all lives in the South here, I know Vegan and a few others, but isn't this snow getting annoying?

If we had even the slightest semblance of a road crew around here, it wouldn't be so bad. As it is, most roads here are basically impassable.

Minneapolis gets snow. Chicago gets snow. Cleveland gets snow. Sweden gets snow.

That stuff in Arkansas doesn't qualify as snow.

It's not so much how much of it we get, it's just when the roads turn to shit here people suddenly forget how to drive. The whole "it's not you, it's the other assholes" thing, yeah. I was driving on a sheet of ice the other day and I had an 18 wheeler pull out in front of me (literally a few hundred feet in front of me) while I'm boppin along at a mellow 40mph. People just lose all intelligence when the roads get "slick"

We still have periods where we can get 6+ inches of snow down on the roads/freeways before the plows come along. When driving through this stuff, you just have to slow way down, keep a lot of space between you and the person in front of you, and make damn sure other drivers are aware of what you are going to do (signal) before you do it. But Chad you are right, too many people think that their Ford Excursion entitles them to drive regular speeds in inclement weather. I love seeing these vehicles in the ditch 5 minutes after they fly by me.

My favorite is once it starts coming down, people in SUV's/Hummers pulled off the side of the road with their E-flashers on because they don't wanna drive in it. THATS WHY YOU HAVE A ****ING HUMMER window licker!
Or the next day, the sheer amount of SUV's that are stuck in ditches.

And I cruise along merrily in my 98 lb Chevrolet Aveo hatchback with no fear of icy roads, only the jackasses that maneuver them.

I'm lookin at 30+ inches of snow here. Who wants to come help me clear the driveway and parking lot? Remember I'm old and have a heart condition......and the wife is bitchin at me for my efforts. I'm not supposed to be out in the cold.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.Ā  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

The funny thing is Minneapolis got about 4-5 inches on Sunday night/Monday morning. Today its blue skies but sub-zero temps. Enjoy the storm we sent you and brace for the cold PP...

I live about 35 mins north of Cincinnati, and all we received from that storm was freezing rain alot of freezing rain, then of course it froze overnight. It was a mission getting to my car, I about busted my ass over a dozen times but the drive in the morning was awesome as well. I think that I would rather have snow than the ice, atleast you would have some kind of traction while driving.
