The clips look like it may be real, so much cgi faked stuff these days it's hard to know. But what was it? An orb? I wanna see more classic metallic saucers. Lighted orbs is OK, but they just leave you wondering what it was. As far as distances, I think an advanced ET being would have to have conquered our limitting linear method of travel, and have either used bending space, or wormholes, or something else to traven "distances". And about not believing unless one sees with one's own eyes, then what about China? Do you believe in China? You've never been there and seen it(assuming you have not been to China), but you have seen pictures, video, and testimony and accept that, and these same things exist for UFOs. Yes. I believe, though I would like to know. And that really only comes with actual experience, same with China.
For those interested in ET contact, I've been studying(somewhat) the cases of Stan Romanek and Jonathan Reed, so if anyone want's to look them up, it's interesting.

In other words, the transition from bands and villages to great civilizations and cultures.
Edit: Having said that, I agree how remarkable it is that we are all alive during a time in our history when the culmination of thousands of years of technological progression has produced the computing age and the air travel and communications advancements that have truly made globalization a reality, for better or for worse. Our technological progression has been truly exponential since the Industrial Revolution, so I do see the point you were making.
