Anyone here interested in Philosophy? It,s a fascinating subject and there are some great
questions to be asked, for example, what is the point of existence, why are we here?? Does
God exist?? Is there life after death??

I thought it would be fun to throw some of these questions out there and see what we come up with.

I'm not sure there really is a point to existence.
It's like Hobbes(the stuffed tiger) said: Kinda makes you wonder why the human race thinks its such a big deal. I think we're really no more special than the trees and other animals.

Nah, in all seriousness, I believe there must be a purpose. The least that I can think of, and also the most is that we are here to LIVE. Live fully and with few regrets, trying to hurt the fewest amount of people. Ya know, do the best that we can and all that.

Does God exist, is there a supreme being???

God? Jesus? Allah? Krishna? Kali? I don't believe so. I don't believe there is a "supreme" being. There maybe be species that are more advanced than us. But I don't believe in a god that needs be feared or worshiped. People love to deify things or make up gods to explain natural phenomena. My mind is open to a great many things, but I cannot and will not believe in a being looking down pulling the cosmic strings.

Theology is much more interesting.

If as you suggest, there is no supreme being, what do you believe is behind the creation of
universe? Do you think that there could be some kind of intelligence behind the big bang
or was that just a random event?
